Sales for the last draw were again about 575,000 tickets. There were 5 tickets with 4 WB and the Star Ball. At this pace there should be a winner in the next 45 draws unless sales pick up.

It may have been a group rather than one person, but there's a serious anomaly in those sales numbers. I've gone over the numbers for the past month, and for most drawings, right around 32% of tickets were sold with the Extra option. For this one, it was 2.5%. Running the numbers, that means that there were approximately 26 million tickets without Extra bought outside of the usual pattern. Ticket sales for Saturday's draw was $28,103,806. Doubtful anyone bought all the combinations (25,827,165), but no doubt a lot of people bought a lot of tickets. It very well could have been a pool of people going in together.

might not be a story on it due to the fact of New Years day was yesterday. Perhaps there will be a story on it tomorrow especially if the sales would happen to move the estimated jackpot up from the current amount.

Many stores close on Christmas day, so less sales. I didn't bother to drive out to buy a ticket on Christmas day. Saved myself a $2 loss. No online purchases in AZ yet.

I don't understand how they figure the new amount being added to the Jackpot each draw. They only increased by $70,000, yet if one calculates the possible ticket sales for the Sat. draw for standard $2 tickets and $3 tickets, it appears they sold about 450,000 $2 tickets and 163,000 $3 tickets for a take of $1,389,000. Of this they paid out a total of $263,112 for prizes won. $1,389,000 minus $263,112 minus $70,000 = $1,055,888 left over. Where does all of this money go? I always thought in the

Yeah.....when you win Lotto America I'll win Texas Lotto I thought it might be won last night, but the most tix are sold for Saturday draws, so I'm thinking it very well could be won this Saturday. Looking at sales records it seems more are jumping in each week as the jackpot climbs. Just got my tix today.
