On Average How Many People Play PB or MM In A Drawing
Is it possible to know on average how many people play PB or MM during a draw? I'm not sure that the lotteries even have a precise answer. They obviously know if somebody buys multiple tickets with a single playslip, and multiple playslips can be played in a single transaction as reported by the terminal, but we see posters who buy tickets at different stores and even different states. About the best you could do is make a guess at the average number of tickets per player and compare that t

The $29.95 Non-Believerz
Spot on Mr-B-216. I've been trying to explain to $hit$talker for months that the odds of the game are the real issues, and the ONLY probability is that only 5 of the 69 in PB and 5 of the 70 in MM are going to be drawn and ONLY 1 of the Powerball and 1 of the Megaball is going to be drawn. That and the fact that there is no mainframe LO's use to change the draw results because the money lotteries make is from the ticket sales, not cheating. Why would LO's risk killing MM or PB (and if

The $29.95 Non-Believerz
LOLOL. It's not so much the probability math thing he espouses, it's that he's convinced the lottery is cheating HIM, like he's special. That's just nuts. Two points to be made about that.... 1) Lotteries make money by selling tickets, and people winning jackpots spurs sales. If nobody ever won, people would stop playing. 2) Someone who is convinced the lottery is cheating him personally (and spying on him to boot), but still buys tickets isn't quite right in the head. Now watch.

How can past draws help predict the lottery?
Hi CottonEyeJoe, Agreed. When I use to tend bar in Jersey City, the property was a block up from Holland Tunnel NY Exit side with a Lottery Kiosk and a C Liquor license which meant it could only sell soft and hard alcohol from over the counter with customers seated at a 14 seat bar. It was an extremely very busy place. We needed 4 on staff during peak times of the day. Anyhoo, I learned that way too many people on their way back into Jersey from their jobs in New York loved to put down a 'p

Playing Quick Picks Versus Picking Your Own Numbers
I went totally berzerk yesterday when I bought a PB ticket. I did my crazy five lines of five identical white ball numbers thing with The Power Play added, and then I thought I should buy the Double Play just for laughs.... The ticket cost me 20 bucks and I got some of it back because I won $7 due to the fact I had the Double Play PB number. When playing like I do (I mostly do this when the jackpot is huge and I don't normally buy The Double Play) gives me a shot at winning a $10,000,000 se

Pick 3 & 4 question.
If the clerk is competent they can probably do advance plays for specific days, within a limited range. Based on my limited experience I'm assuming what's allowed varies by game and by state. My actual experience is knowing that in PA you can play advanced draws for MM while skipping the first/next drawing (buy on Tuesday but play Friday and the following Tuesday for example) but you can't skip the first/next drawing when buying advance plays for PB. Or maybe it's the other way around. I jus

mega millions power ball and pick 5 numbers games aren't rigged.
50 lines of Mega Millions, please. And would you mind putting this umbrella over the machine while it's printing? I fear I'm being spied upon. Just in the nick of time, draw sales are set to close in 10 minutes. But I assure you sir, there are no spies in this shop. That's just what a spy would say! Now I must insist you also put a blindfold on while printing my tickets. And the shopgirl as well to be on the safe side. Sir, you need to leave. You are no longer welco

Would you "bless" the deli?
This poll is inspired by this article https://nypost.com/2022/07/31/nyc-deli-that-sold-1m-lotto-ticket-hopes-winner-shares-wealth/ To paraphrase: Workers at the Bronx deli that sold a $1 million Mega Millions ticket hope the local winner returns to share his pot since their shop doesn t get any sale bonus for non-jackpot prizes. A worker at the deli said that a previous customer who won $1 million in Powerball in 2017 came back and blessed random customers by giving them large cash gifts.

There could be... As in the case o f Eddie Tipton He knew the RNG could be messed up with. He did it and got caught after years... many who played Hotlotto with methods were indeed betrayed by the system. States or lottery companies could give the ticket money back but it's huge time waste for system/method players. As far as the mechanical balls, an auditing firm is auditing the overall process and several people are involved in this whole process . But, to me I don't see th
