Anonymous winner in South Carolina?!?!?
I thought that only Delaware permits winners to remain anonymous. But on the Powerball website, it says Anonymous for the South Carolina winner. But in most states, the only way to remain anonymous is through a trust. Is it fair for the other Powerball winners who are hounded by the press for someone else from a state other than Delaware to be anonymous?

Remaining anonymous if you win jackpot?
After doing lot of search, I found that only few states allow winner to remain anonymous. But it is wise to remain anonymous (in my opinion and also after reading lot of stories). I have read about forming a trust (in which all 3 parties are you) and which can claim prize on your behalf. What are the options that come to mind of LP members about how to remain anonymous?

Is that true?As I recall, a couple years back, Todd said that some winners in Maryland were allowed to remain anonymous. But no matter how much you know about trusts, the ultimate judge regarding whether or not someone can be anonymous is the l

The KY PB winner’s name DID go public.
Previously, I said that the woman from Kentucky who won the Powerball in July was anonymous. At first, I thought that the woman was anonymous, but I was wrong. I assumed that since the KY lottery website said that she wishes to remain anonymous that she WOULD be anonymous. Sorry about that. I shouldn't have assumed that. The KY lottery website said that the woman who won the powerball in July (It was like $14 million) wishes to become anonymous, and the KY lottery website didn't show her na

Anonymous / Non anonymous states
Here's an idea, let any non anonymous state offer two jackpot games, same game, same odds but make one game have an anonymous jackpot and the other game not anonymous. See which one gets played more. There a marketing test for you, lottery directors.
