I have discovered over time, that the lottery numbers have a mind of their own, and show up when they are ready- not when we want them to show up always;

 

If I had bought that keno ticket, last night, with numbers I would of chose, I would have spent a $ couple of dollars, not too much money; and not had winning numbers- but I know that it requires patience; like anything else in life- you have to go with the flow- of what the universe is showing you;

 

The numbers will show up when they are good and ready- and then you play them for entertainment- like any other hobby..

After hearing a Bible lesson in Sunday school about miracles, a  little girl went up to her Sunday school teacher."In my house," said the little girl.' when handwriting appears on the wall  it's not a miracle, it's the work of my little brother."

Well, I  regretfully wasted my money and time buying any lotto max tickets in last nights draw; thought that I would win something on them; but did not win anything. I feel foolish right now, but will not lose faith, will try again another day, on a different lottery..

 The lottery, I  know is a game of chance. I have wanted to win the lottery too much, so I will back off from it for a few days, and gain some insight from that I believe!

 

Some days; you have to take a step back from any situation; and ask yourself- what can I learn from this?!

 

You have to have a good perspective , no matter what in life!

 

 

I like to spend or bet $1 up to $5 on tickets every other day for the lottery.

 

If a lottery form that you fill out says that you can bet up to $5 on a ticket, I like the thought of doing that.

 

I don't want to be cheap and play the lowest wager if I can get a good return on it. Lately I have been too timid with betting on numbers, and I hope to change that!

I have decided I am tired of sitting on the sidelines, looking at lottery numbers and not playing them, so I will buy some keno tickets today,. If i win great, if not at least I tried. And that is what life is all about.

 

If I win I will do a happy dance!"

Well, I look at the keno numbers to try daily, and shake my head, saying to myself, I don't have the faith to spend $ 1, or 2 or $5 or more on tickets so, I let another day slip by.

 

If I spend the money on the numbers and they don't show, I've wasted the money and then I feel like I have let myself down for doing  it;

How do you shake the cob webs, dulldrims from your thinking. And rejuvenate your way of doing something. That I ponder, and will come to a conclusion about one of these days, I suspect!

Anyway, time to go, I am feeling hungry and need to keep my health and mind set moving forward!"       

 

A new hair salon opened up for business right across the street from the old established hair cutters place. 

They put up a big bold sign which read: "WE GIVE SEVEN DOLLAR  HAIR CUTS!"Not to be outdone, the old

Master Barber put up his old sign: "WE FIX SEVEN DOLLAR HAIR CUTS".

 

 

                                             

A farmer wins the ten million dollar lottery and is being interviewed .

He is asked what he is going to do with all the money. "Oh, I guess the first thing I'll do is go and pay a few bills.'

"And what about the rest?" the reporter asks. Farmer shrugs, "Well, I guess they'll just have to wait."

 

 

     

I have been thinking for a while that I should obtain a passport. So many people that I know have one, and I know they are a good investment. I want to travel so much, and get out of my comfort zone in Canada.

I really need to spread my wings like birds do.  Getting over to the United States, or maybe to England, Ireland, Scotland- would be an experience for me, hopefully a positive one.

I don't have anybody to travel with me, so will venture out alone.

I get frightened sometimes of the thought of travelling alone, but it is better than wondering about what is going on in the world and not being able to experience it.

Travelling will open my life to possibilities  maybe, that I wouldn't experience, by staying in my province all the time!

 

I am so happy to tell you that I have gotten my cable and internet re hooked up again. I was without them for  over 5 months. I had a drought with them. As the old bill got to be too expensive. And so, I have service with another provider and hoping it does the trick.

 

It was difficult watching Dvd movies, all the time. I got tired of it, and really missed having the opportunity to watch cable  programs and shows.

 

As well being able to access the computer at home, instead of having to go to a public computer all the time, which was stressful and time consuming..

 

Now I hope to breathe easier and enjoy what is offered to me!!

Hello out there to everybody. Hope that you are all well. We are having celebrations for Canada day. Alot of events and concerts going on. The fireworks will be happening today or tomorrow. Also alot of partying, @ people getting careless and drinking too much.

 

I worry for drivers out there getting behind the wheel and hurting people. Some are stupid, and don't think and start driving, when they have been drinking alcohol. And should be staying off the roads!

 

It will be in the news hopefully, whatever takes place over the weekend.

I hope to enjoy the weekend, @ I hope that you do as well!

I hope that you don't give up on faith in yourself or in the lottery. I know that it takes time., and all good things require patience and fortitude. So don't listen to negative people.

 

 And don't let yourself, get too stressed. Go for a walk and see a change of scenery somewhere else.

I haven't been chatting with people much since, my computer was disconnected and cable, etc. The bill got too high. So, I go to a library or site to use a computer..

 

Times have been tough, and hoping for a good win to keep me a float.. Trying to be patient, I guess you need it these days!

Both sides in transit impasse ready to make separate offers, met with councilator at 10:30 a.m. today

If an agreement is reached, it would still take a few days for regional buses to start rolling again

Ken Wilson, president of Amalgamated Transit Union Local 508, announced to reporters in Grand Parade.

Each side has it's offer to make as Metro Transit and the union returned to the bargaining table on Wednesday morning.

The members of ATU Local 508 have prepared a counter- offer to the employer's final (offer).

It's now Day 5 of Metro Transit strike, with no end in sight and no talks planned

 

Transit strike negotiations are going nowhere . Fast.

There was no movement over the weekend. Both sides are sticking to their guns.

Metro Transit wants the union to take it's latest offer to it's members for a vote, and the union's bargaining team wants to be back at the bargaining table.

The three big things already remedied through previous negotiations are part- time workers, contracting out and making workers the highest paid in Canada.

 

They are sticking to their position and haven't had any recent communication with the union.
