Spaying and neutering makes pets better, more affectionate companions.

Neutering cats makes them less likely to spray and mark territory.

Spaying a dog or cat eliminates her heat cycle. Estrus lasts an average of six to 12 days, often twice a year, in dogs and an average of six to seven days, three or more times a year, in cats.

Females in heat can incessantly ,show nervous behavior, and attract unwanted male animals.

Unsterilized animals show more aggressive behavior and temperment problems than do those who have been spayed or neutered.

Spaying and neutering makes animals less likely to bite.

Neutering makes pets less likely to roam the neigborhood, run away or get in fights.

Kate is feeling a little better today. She is still feeling a little sick I think from the anesthetic and sore from the operation. But she is on the mend. And I'm happy to say that she has her appetite back and eating her canned food. And drinking water. And using her litter box. I am so happy!

Also she wants to go outdoors which she likes to do, but I can't let her outside by herself until she heals more.

Right now she is laying down, and I think that she is wondering what happened to her I believe that!

Animals are very intelligent.

My 6 month old cat was spayed today. We wanted to do it before she got in heat and the tom cats would have been around after her! Her name is Kate or Katie. She is beautiful and a calico colored cat.

She is feeling nausea from the anesthetic, which we were told about, and she is resting.

She'll feel better and hungry eventually.

My neighbour got her cat spayed as well..

Too many people do not get their pets spayed or neutered, and then there is a over population of unwanted animals.

Also for health reasons for animals, it is much better if an animal has the operation, and they will be healthier in the long run.

I have 2 cats. They want to go outside all the time. They don't go far away. I am protective of them.

I see people walking their dogs all the time. My cats follow me when I go for a walk , they are just like dogs.

When people see the cats, they laugh and can't believe that the cats want to go for a walk with me.   

Some lucky person won the Super 7 lottery in my city or across the bridge. The prize was $ 4 million.

It wasn't me though.

I hope they do not spend it too fast. And use the money wisely for their future.

Would anyone know what Maine is like? What are the people like, the schools? The weather and the prices for living there?

How is everyone doing this Labour day.? Do you have plans today? Or have gone away travelling?

 I don't have any plans. I went to the grocery store to buy a few items and then went for a walk. Some stores are open, others closed.

It's a good day to just relax, if you can.  And please drive safely out there. Put on your seat belts always! 

In Canada we are having labour day weekend as it's called. Alot of people are off work Monday. Not all of them.

Some people travel away for it or stay home if they can't afford to go anywhere.

I am playing the lottery for fun. Hoping to catch some numbers.

We are getting alot of rain today. The news cast is calling for a thunderstorm. That's dangerous. Not looking forward to it, if it happens.

We all want to win the lottery and I hope that we all do. But if you win a large prize or a jackpot spend the money wisely. Don't spend it too fast and  don't give it to foolish people. Who want the money just because you have it. Save the money too, because you will need it later.

I have low blood pressure, which is also called Anemia. I can feel very sick at any time if my blood pressure drops. I take iron pills to help me through it. I eat healthy, eat meat, vegetables, protein. Also fruits, and I like pasta and salads. As well I exercise regularly.

But you can still develop low blood, the same as any other medical problem. I wasn't feeling well tonight. I hope that tommorrow is a better day for everyone.

We have had some  very hot weather. With temperatures in the 90's. A person could get a heatstroke if they are not careful. I see women walking their babies in strollers in the heat. What are they thinking?!

Joggers jogging in the heat, with the sweat pouring off of them. That is dangerous to their health as well.  As well people leaving pets in cars or outside in the heat. Animals suffer just like people.

What are these people thinking, that leave their pets in weather conditions such as that.. 

Saw this word arghhh on a license plate and thought that's how I feel alot, arghh.

There are things in life that make you feel like saying arghhh! 

I started work at 8:00 a.m. this morning. I'm temporarily doing merchandising for a store with other people. We have to put shelves up at a certain height, also taking products off the shelves and moving them over onto the shelves. Because they are renovating the store. Also putting pricing up. There is alot of standing and walking. It takes it's toll on you mentally and physically..

I want to quit the job but will wait till I find a better job. And one that is not physically hard I hope..

I have to rub my legs with linament and cream for the soreness. And I soak my feet as well.

That is my exciting life. Not!..
