Lottery syndicates online
I trust them also. But I play after cost/chance ratio. I have made a simple spreadsheet to calculate this. In Sweden Eurojackpot is the only official multi-country lottery with similar odds of winning like Euromillions. One single line on Eurojackpot here costs $3,33 compared with Euromillions syndicate $17,34. I get more than 5 lines for each Euromillions ticket. Svenska Spel (Swedish gambling company) have plans to include Eurojackpot in their syndicate play, these tickets like regular swed

Powerball Power Play Number Almost Always 2 ?
We get it now. They're just ahead of the times. They are using Common Core to calculate these Odds. Our take on it is based on the ol' gubment standard: Say one thing, Do another.

Idea for a lottery that would foil psychics, cheat codes, and birthday numbers.
Talking centillions here. To calculate the odds for this you would have to first figure out how many ways 250 numbers can be derived from 968 numbers. Hint: the answer is 239 digits long. Then you would have to calculate how many ways 5 numbers can be derived from that number, which would probably be close to a millinillion. This would be an awesome game and whoever wins would most likely win fair square! What do you all think? This would be a non-winner game. LOL

Jackpot statistics in MM & Powerball games
I see your point RJOh and that is regardless of the strategies you use or trends you look at you'll never be able increase your odds of winning that are in any way statistically significant. That's why I joined LP a few months back, to get tips and insight from players with much more experience and know-how than myself. I do have one question for you or any other LP member in the know for that matter and that is if I intentionally stop playing PB white ball number sets that are at least 5 num

Fallacies, and two REAL ways of improving your chances
It's not that we , can't understand. We understand completely what you're trying to say now, or at least I do. However, YOU don't understand that your idea is flawed. Repeating your reasoning again and again doesn't help. You need to address the flaws that I have pointed out in your system. If you cannot explain them, your idea is flawed, simple as that. Repeating your reasoning again and again in different words does not make your idea correct. You don't have to mention th

What are the chances of ever winning the 2nd place prize for PB or MM?
Yep, I figured it out last night when I was trying to calculate the odds of not one of three referees seeing LeBron James fouling Kevin Durant at least four times when Durant was trying to make the game tying shot. the numbers of winning combinations at each level are divided by the number of possible combinations. Shouldn't that be the number of possible combos divided by the combos in each level? 34 divided by 175 million does not equal 5,153,633.

Are pre-draws corrupting your lottery strategy ?
It seems you forgot to answer, again... So what are the odds exactly for 1 number in a pick3 game? How does one calculate them? (Surely, such an easy question should be totally not difficult for a person of your ability to answer... or is it too difficult a question?)

What do you do to Increase your Odds of Winning?
Just because a number don't hit for two or three weeks don't mean it will hit that week You're right about that. Just because a number doesn't hit for 2 or 3 weeks doesn't mean it's due to hit this week. But that wasn't my argument. I'm talking about a set(combination) of numbers. For example, the set 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. I'm not going to play the set 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 because the likeliness of it being drawn is incredibly low. As a result, I have just eliminated a single set of numbers! Congratu

Twenty minutes later and five miles down the road...
I don't think the two Lottery strands having one number match from two different sources is weird at all. I am not saying that I am right...or claiming to be a Guru...but.. I am in a pool at work, where everyone picks thier own numbers. now...it is not uncommon for a number to be selected by two or more players, for the same draw. not sure what the odds are on it happened (never bothered to calculate it, just know it happens almost every draw.
