Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
I too have seen book numbers approaching 60k on $10 Monopoly, which is interesting as I had a few tickets on release in the single-digit thousands (indicating that the books did start low), and there should be a winner every 42,000 books. Considering the rate at which they're selling, unless they're skipping an awful lot of books numbers, it seems likely the lowest-book-number winner is in a spot where ticket sales are lower (the middle-of-nowhere kind of locations, or a DO). It'll be interestin

This play has low sales. I bought off the same roll of $5 Flamingo (newer one) yesterday and today when I went in, none had been sold since. The lady literally said, give me one of each what he got. .. Not like she walked in and just happened to pick the same two tickets, that's entirely different. #*@ - So long as I don't see a big winner out of that store with the ticket #s I know she got, I'll get over it.

I agree, Cape Coral does seem to be a hot area for what may seem from a glance has a disproportionate number of wins . Then again, people say this about south FL in general. South FL has the largest population density in the state, however. I'm not sure what the population is like in Cape Coral, or how ticket sales vary from that particular area. I know using probability and statistics, the chances of a given area receiving a jackpot should increase with the number of sales. That wouldn't necess

Unclaimed Jackpot Prizes
Zebekyia, interesting read. You live in NY, right? We have had similar shady lottery practices happen in FL. For example, one of our scratchoff game called 100X had 5 $1million prizes remaining, and 1 $5 million prize left unclaimed. The game is ending soon, but is unavailable across the entire state. As far as shady practices, one of our holiday games called $2,000,000 Holiday Gifts is still around in short supply. I have went to a food store and heard from the retailer that the lottery

When we ask Florida lotto district Sales Manager about the places where we can buy a particular scratch-off ticket, they give the list of shops/stores. But, I don't see the district office name in that list? Does it mean that it's implied that all scratch off games are in district office apart from the stores listed in the report?? Can any one in this forum know about this?

Oldghost, do you have this report for $10 games ($200 MS and 50X Cash)? I have requested district sales manager who in turn requested headquarters. I am not sure how long it will take to receive the report. Let me know if you have one. Thanks.

8 total. Though this shouldn't matter given the #s I mentioned for record sales and what not in the prior post. I can't speak for other lotteries but the way FL Lotto functions doesn't seem crafty. The conspiracies on the forum as whole about the lotteries scamming and what not sort of bug me as logically it'd be quite difficult to do AND get away with considering how many people are involved at the state and private companies that work with them.

NYS Lottery commits fraud in sales of Scratch off game
After an investigation into the NYS Lottery division's practices of how the conduct their sales of Scratch offs I have no choice but to conclude that NYS Lottery conducted an all out attempt to prevent the final top prize of Game 596 1 million dollars a year for life scratch off from being claimed. I lay out the conclusions and facts as I have found them. I have called and/or visited over 2000 retailers throughout NYS with dates and times and retailers names and was told that as far back

Are we at the mercy of the store owners and cheating clerks when it comes to scratch of tickets ?
I have been to a few places where there has been only one scratch off ticket in each of the ticket dispensers. Logic says such an occurrence through sales is highly improbable. Obviously I do not buy at these places, but I do report such incidents to the lottery!

Scratch Off Game Cards
In general, the big prizes seem to be spread out over the course of the game's lifetime. That said, depending on the state, you can see if the top prize winners are outpacing ticket sales, or if it's the other way around. If a larger percentage of the low prizes have been claimed than the percentage of the high prizes claimed, your odds are better than usual for winning a top prize.
