Take5 NY
If anybody was going to hit four numbers in Take5, last nite was the night to do it. $1,031 bucks for 4 numbers. Does anybody know if The NY State Lottery has recently changed the split with regard to how much money is paid out of the total ticket sales pool to T5 winners and how much they keep? (Out of all they money they take in via T5 ticket sales, what percentage is allocated to T5 players with winning tickets and what percentage does the state keep?) Guys, I hate to say it, but I thin

Can Someone Explain to me this oddness: What makes the state of VA so special..
i ve heard that before but i dont think it has something to do with that..for what i remember from my civics and history classes the little that i can remember a commonwealth is a particular political structure of government...I think other states can pull it off...I knew the state was a commonwealth but i really dont think that influences...Unless you was telling me that VA lottery doesnt take 50% of every dollar but 20% or something like that and i still dont think thats the case...And even if

Dont you feel they take away too much taxes..$25K - $600K Pick5
I agree with you, however... taxes fund the government that protects and enables the life you live right now. If we don't pay our government then (insert rival nation here) would march right in here and take your freedom, instead of just a few dollars that were not in your pocket in the first place. :D

China's Pick-5/22 TianTianle
8 bucks might be considered an improvement! if you start winning too many jackpots, then the government might have to intervene. They might stick you with the Falun Gong.

Dont you feel they take away too much taxes..$25K - $600K Pick5
I believe all lotto winnings should be tax free. Remember, the government gets 50% of all wagers before the draw. Then they tax the winner to get even more. They should be satisfied with the first 50%.

Ohio Rolling Cash5 rolls to $556,000.00
Ohioan have bought tickets for the Canadian lottery through the mail and that is illegal, that's is a federal law. A couple featured on Columbus 10TV news claimed to have done that and won a jackpot but I never heard if the state or federal government ever filed charges or if they changed their story to traveling to Canada to buy the tickets. I'm sure they paid state and federal taxes regardless.

NC Cash 5
I'm right there with you. but we lottery players have got to remember that lottery outcomes are not random. They are picked and chosen by those who run the department and those who receive orders and instructions to run the machines. NCEL needed to make up for recent big hits on scratch cards , pick 4's and if you remember just a few weeks ago, the very long string of CASH 5 hits when the jackpot was at its beginning level. It's very costly when a lottery has about 9 out of 10 jackpot hits when

Florida Fantasy-5 Players
Many people who might be reading this post may not be at least 52 years of age, and therefore they probably wont have any recollection of what I'm about to write. Back in December of 1968, The Hong Kong flu ( a flu as deadly and scary as Covid-19) swept over the world and it killed one million elderly people, 100,000 of whom were in The USA. Most of the people that died were aged 65 or older. In January of 1969 a music festival was being planned for August of 1969 to be held in Ulster Coun

How do I use this info?
Thanks for answering, thought maybe folks weren't sure what I was talking about. Lots of views but no insights. I hit 4 of 5 tonight and was off by one on the last. I just thought Knowing that with those combos you would automatically have 2 numbers off the bat correct (80-90%) of the time, people would be more intrigued to think about it and come up with some solutions. Guess the old saying applies, if you want something done right....for god's sake keep the government out of it. For sake of tr
