Have you ever wondered why many lottery retailers are owned by members of certain racial minorities?
Why do you consider yourself a liberal? What policies do you support or dislike? I would be curious, as you might find that we have more in common than you might assume. 1) Do you believe that individuals should rely on government to provide their basic needs and control every aspect of their lives, or do you believe in individual initiative, freedom and the pursuit of your own dreams? Do you believe that the government knows better than you what is best for you? 2) Do you believe that law

Ga Lottery Is A Cheat!! Specialy The $ 20 Tickets ,Printing Money With Blank Tickets !!
I love all of you one post wonders. I think this poster is a bed-wetting blithering idiot. Did you even complete all 12 years of your government education? I want you to show me one thing that the government has done better than the private sector. Just give me one example, and I will hand you the keys to my car. You stupid foolish liberals, you actually believe that companies are evil if they make a profit. Do you actually think that if something is run by the government that it is actually fre

Do you think that $20 and $30 scratch offs should have 1 in 2 overall odds?
Is it bad to be at least break even? What you do not understand that the government gets money from lottery in 2 ways, even when you win you pay taxes. That is after the government took its share.

That is fine, and I can certainly understand you not wanting to get into a debate about these issues, but I will respond to what you wrote. You believe in a strong social safety net. Who is supposed to pay for that? I think that has already existed in nature for all of history, through all civilizations. It is called family support, and after that if you somehow have no family, there are churches, charities and so forth. There is food stamps, unemployment, welfare, free or low cost clinics, t

First of all, you will never show me where democrats who count on their government for everything are smarter than folks who have learned how to survive on their own. Yeah members of the nanny state, totally dependant on the government for everything. All they want is to live happily ever after in their welfare state. They want a free ride. After all, why should they work when they can get the taxpayers to support them. I say start by deporting all of the illegals, and then throwing everyone off

Let's talk 2nd chance lottery on scratch offs
I've only been playing scratchoffs for a bit over a year, but I have done my research. The abysmal returns that players are complaining about are due partially due to the pressures that the government places on the lottery for funding. Federal funding for education has declined with the anticipation that the lottery would bridge the gap in many states. The Florida Lottery's Bright Future scholarship continues to offer a lower percentage of tuition coverage despite the record number of ticket sal

Last of the California Second Chance Jackpots
Lottery jobs are government jobs which are generally stable. This powerball drawing helps the CA Lottery's cause. So it is terrible thinking on my part. It is easy to get $100 winners on scratchers if you play regularly, it is just that the $200 and up prizes are much harder to get for tickets $10 and under, you can go years without it. The $20/$30 ticket had too much break even prize points. I think I am one of those people that want a good amount of $100k prizes instead of a handful $5mi

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
I have to call BS on that comment regarding the claim. As a prior winner who had to file a claim for a $1,000 Scratcher win, I took my ticket to the district office on December 9th of last year and picked up my check at the office on the 29th. I don't where you got that insane idea that it would take six freaking months to claim a prize. Sure, the government is mostly slow and inefficient, but not that much so.

I have always wondered the same..Been a software engineer for 22 years and I am amazed at the fast response these terminals and ticket checking scanners provide. Most likely being a government entity, I think security is lax for these servers and is easy to hack or just copy from the database.

Post your scratch ticket results
On this site they are called ticket hawks. Yeah MD tickets suck lately for me also especially the new $20 Lucky Millionaire ticket. I have played 14 of them and gotten 2 $30 wins and a $25 win. I am taking a break from playing I might buy 1 occasionally. I guess the state government wants to suck in more money so they can continue to thoughtlessly throw $ around to solve their problems.
