Illinois Lottery Mega Tripler Promo
NY should try something like this with MM. It would further erode NY Lotto sales.

Mega Millions & Tuesday the 18th
Sales for these past drawings have been really low compared to previous jackpot rolls. We are some $20,000,000 behind in sales compared to the last jackpot run. If sales stay stagnant like they are we could see a good jackpot run maybe even to the $400 million range. If we stay under $100 million in sales for the next two drawings we will see that threshold finally be broken. Brad

It will be interesting to see how California performs now that its large jackpot has been won and now that MM is the biggest

Probability of a MegaMillions rollover.
The Megamillions jackpot has rolled over and the cash value is now $52.4M. The cash value reached on the last drawing was $45.2M. The annuity value is now $88M, just shy of the $90M annuity record for this number of drawings in a prize building pool. The lottery is apparently predicting 22.6M in sales. If this proves to be correct, the probability of various numbers of winners is given in the following table:087.93%111.31%20.73%30.03%I have updated the data fitted into my exponential modelin
