Lottery ticket has all the numbers, but 7 seconds late
Joel Ifergan came within seven seconds of becoming a multi-millionaire, and he's ready to go to court to claim his windfall. Illinois Little Lotto Jackpots 2008
Hey there Texas MadMan Well, personally I feel that the info. is useful if this is the game someone is going to play. I'm also using it as a model because there is a drawing everyday (and evidently a winner every 2.7 days). For all the discussions we heave her about quick picks vs people picking their own numbers, I'd like to see a bunch of people all pick a game and track it, so we'd have this kind of input from at least a dozen games. But I'm prety sure the results would be very simil

Some lottery millionaires can't wait to return to work
Many of us, if we won big in the lottery, would have one item at or near the top of our to-do list: never work again. But when Camelot, operator of the UK National Lottery, polled 100 of its lottery millionaires, the results threw up a few surprises. Of those working before their win, a third chose to go on working, with half of them remaining full-time. (And of the two-thirds who have ceased the daily grind, half admitted to missing work.) With a million-plus jingling in your back pocket, wh

UPDATED (Aug. 28, 2007, 11:44 am) Internal documents added The Tennessee Lottery should investigate whether fraud was behind a computer malfunction that affected the results for Cash 3 and Cash 4 games, the lottery board's audit chairman says. James H. Ripley, a Sevierville attorney who heads the 3-year-old lottery's audit group, said the agency should probe more deeply into why a computer software problem prevented duplicate numbers from being drawn for a three-week period. Systems say don't play like this....
Little Lotto used to be a 5 / 30 game and switched to 5 / 39. Before the matrix expanded, the top prize was detrmined by the amount of play and the lower tier (4 of 5) was determined by the number of winners - but there were only two lower tiers, 4 of 5 and 3 of 5 (I think 3 of 5 was always $5) When it expanded the lower prizes became constants, $100 for 4 of 5, $10 for 3 of 5, and $1 for 2 of 5. So I guess everyone who was kvethching about not getting paid anything for hitting two
