"What time does the library open?" the man on the phone asked.

"Nine a.m." came the reply." And what's the idea of calling me in the middle of the night to ask a question like that?' "Not until nine a.m? the man asked in a disappointed voice. "No., not until nine a.m?'

the librarian said." Why do you want to get in before nine a.m?" "Who said I wanted to get in?' the man sighed sadly.  "I want to get out."

I have had a difficult month financially. No new job to go to anywhere in sight yet..

So I cannot buy any lottery tickets till I get more money.. Then I'll be able to buy some every week..

In the meantime i wonder about missing out on the lottery, that somebody may be buying the ticket that was meant for me, and they are winning and have a smile on their face;

It irks me, P#sses me off, but I play a waiting game..

When the time is right, and the planets are in alignment as the saying goes' I will strike while the iron is hot, and buy that lovely ticket..

A  major winter storm is expected to hit Nova Scotia starting overnight on Friday, bringing strong winds and about 30 centimetres of snow to the region when all is said and done.

Environment Canada meteorologist said, the storm should track along the United States coast and combine with a system over the Great Lakes before hitting western parts of the province..

WELL THIS WINTER HAS TURNED OUT TO BE EXCITING.. NO- NOT REALLY!

We are having another cold spell today.. Man- you need to dress warm for this weather..

Days like this I want to get my passport and jet off to the United States to California, Orlando,Florida to Seaworld or maybe Nevada and experience the warmth..

Better for me to go when the temperatures aren't too high in these states.. Patiently I wait for the right time to travel!

Now why couldn't I be smart like the snowbirds- they know when to go..

We are getting more rain. I don't know how many centimetres, but the river in back of my townhouse is flooding. It floods every time, there is a heavy rain. It is over 20 feet possibly from the fence. It makes me nervous if it get's too close..

We had more rain again.. I am waiting for the snow fall I know it is going to happen. As I can feel it in the air.

I don't like Canadian winters. Am anticipating going away somewhere this winter. Not sure where yet..

Yesterday I was out for a walk and jog early morning, I attempted to cross a road, and tripped and fell on the street, foolish me!!

I twisted my foot- left one, and picked myself up off the road; I carefully made my way back home, and felt dizzy from the fall, but had to continue onward. When I arrived home, I put ice on my foot, that didn't help enough, so knew that i should get down to the hospital emergency department, I got a drive from a neighbour;

I waited in the waiting room, for a few hours before being called in for a examination by a doctor, he was very nice- I liked him.. He referred me for an x ray, which I was relieved to finally go for; it was confirmed that i damaged the area by the bone, muscle and tissue, alot of swelling as a result..

Currently, I have a cast on my foot, and trying to manage these crutches that I obtained...Next week, I go to the orthopedic clinic to have my foot looked at.. Hopefully, it is healing itself..

When I get back to daily exercising, I need to go slower and not go at the pace I went before..

What, I have learned is you never know when you are going to trip and fall down, so be carefully out there, walking and or jogging!

I also- should of bought a lottery ticket yesterday, as when something bad happens- something good sometimes happens- should of bought the maybe- winning ticket!!

I hesitated going into a drug store this morning, to buy a lottery ticket. And a older man that I had spoken to previously outside. Went in ahead of me, as I was approaching the store. He had the same idea as me to buy a lotto 649.; he bought his ticket..

And I am thinking, what if I  had gone in before him, instead of being indecisive, I might have bought the winning ticket. Now,I am feeling discouraged about my lack of good judgement..

Now if only that pouring rain falling down here in Canada; were money I'd be thrilled..

Bought some more tickets for tonights big draw. Win or lose, I invested in them!!

Well the past few weeks, my computer has been acting up, pages freezing on me, and just not functioning properly, so yesterday, i turned on the computer, and the internet explorer did not show any web pages';

I called the cable company, and somebody- will arrive on the weekend to look at the modem and monitor and set up.

Back to using the library computer, where I am.

 I guess you can not rely on your home computer too often, and have to go else where to see the internet!

I have discovered over time, that the lottery numbers have a mind of their own, and show up when they are ready- not when we want them to show up always;

If I had bought that keno ticket, last night, with numbers I would of chose, I would have spent a $ couple of dollars, not too much money; and not had winning numbers- but I know that it requires patience; like anything else in life- you have to go with the flow- of what the universe is showing you;

The numbers will show up when they are good and ready- and then you play them for entertainment- like any other hobby..

After hearing a Bible lesson in Sunday school about miracles, a  little girl went up to her Sunday school teacher."In my house," said the little girl.' when handwriting appears on the wall  it's not a miracle, it's the work of my little brother."

Well, I  regretfully wasted my money and time buying any lotto max tickets in last nights draw; thought that I would win something on them; but did not win anything. I feel foolish right now, but will not lose faith, will try again another day, on a different lottery..

 The lottery, I  know is a game of chance. I have wanted to win the lottery too much, so I will back off from it for a few days, and gain some insight from that I believe!

Some days; you have to take a step back from any situation; and ask yourself- what can I learn from this?!

You have to have a good perspective , no matter what in life!

I like to spend or bet $1 up to $5 on tickets every other day for the lottery.

If a lottery form that you fill out says that you can bet up to $5 on a ticket, I like the thought of doing that.

I don't want to be cheap and play the lowest wager if I can get a good return on it. Lately I have been too timid with betting on numbers, and I hope to change that!
