On March 25, 2020 they said due to Covid19 they had to roll back from $40 starting price to $20 million due to 'interest rate and ticket sales BUT THEY ARE NOT GOING TO ROLL BACK THE PRICE INCREASE OF A $1 AMOUNT ON EACH TICKET SALES. I've been thinking about JPT. Nothing in the story seems to have come from a lottery employee, so for all we know she bought the ticket at noon on Saturday at her local Piggly Wiggly. That said, because the sales cutoff time is 10:58 you can tickets at 4 minutes to 11. There's a fair chance that she thought the drawing is at 11 and bought the ticket at 10:56. Or maybe she bought it at 10:54, saw a notice that said sales stop in 4 minutes and thought that meant the drawing was in 4 minutes.
