I assume you are talking cash value rather than the jackpot (That got the advantage of higher interest rates increasing the annuity value) You only have Sunday and Monday for sales... whereas Saturday's draw had three days (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.. any increase over 67% of Saturday's increase is good . Having Sunday as a sales day may further impact sales (not sure which way :))

It sure stinks that JPT keeps rolling down. They hit the 2 million dollar cap on the jackpot on June 3rd and nobody has won the jackpot since. Apparently 2 million dollars isn't a big enough prize to attract player interest in the game. Its really not close. Mondays powerball sales in California were 24 million. In New York it was 13 million. About the same as texas. Florida had the second highest sales at 15 million.
