Pick Ten
The LP odds calculator is correct. Keno draws 20 of 80 numbers so there are 3,535,316,142,212,180,000 different 20 number combinations. The odds of matching 10 of the 20 drawn numbers out of 80 numbers is 1 in 8,911,711 as shown on LB's chart. If anyone is interested, the experts can show you how to calculate Keno odds.

Likelihood of a MM Winner this drawing?
That's true, but somewhere there are statistics that calculate the probability of a set of numbers being drawn based upon projected sales. That factors in duplicate numbers, and people picking their birthdays or whatever... For example, for the sake of argument let's say there are 63M tickets sold for this drawing. The overall odds being 302M to one, 63M unique sets of numbers would imply that there is about a 20% chance that one of those 63M sets of numbers will be drawn. However, if 63M ticket

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
I posted the IRL for the new game on the previous page, so we should be able to calculate the odds at hitting the $10M and $100k prize on it fairly easily. I'm too lazy to do it at the moment. The $25 World Class Cash game seemed to be designed with more frequent $1M and $20k prizes in mind, hence the much more difficult $10M prize tier. I think the new $20 $10k/wk for Life game will have better odds at hitting $10M.

Matrix change will not make Powerball jackpots larger.
That's awesome! That's what the odds need to be for us to have large jackpots. Even with those odds that need scientific notation to calculate, it would still be way too easy for some winners to win it, but there would be less winners overall leading to larger jackpots.

Monopoly Millionaires game
statistically it probably should not have happened until month 3! Statistically, it can happen any time, including 3 drawings in a row. If sales were always the same it would be just as likely on the 1st drawing as on the 50th. In terms of probability, it should average out to match the odds, so we should expect 1 jackpot winner for every 72.77 million tickets as a long-term average. If they sell 1 million tickets for every drawing we would expect, on average, 1 jackpot winner every 73 draw

Which will hit first?? Mega or Power
I say Mega. It has sold more than twice as many tickets as its odds in the current cycle, while Powerball has sold just a little more than its odds. While that doesn't mean much on the face, it can be used to calculate cumulative probabilities. The lottery uses this information to gauge press releases.

Do some number combinations have better odds?
I understand that you're using the term beat the odds figuratively. The odds in MM are calculated by comparing the number of possible outcomes to 1 winning outcome. The odds of any one of the 56 numbers are calculated differently because there are 5 winning outcomes. We know it's possible to have the 5 winning outcomes in a group of 28 numbers so we calculate those odds the same way we calculated the overall odds by comparing the number of possible outcomes to 1 . It doesn't change the fact

Why Do Mathematicians Consider The Lottery Random
But based on my understanding of the Don't Pass bet, you're forgetting to show the effect of getting a 2,3,12 or 7/11 on the come out roll - which makes the edge of the much small - but existant. Because of the large number of no results , the odds on Craps actually change. The come out roll favors the Pass Line but the odds are 3 to 1 that a number will be rolled and when that happens the odds will favor the Don't. Any house edge is based on the odds favoring the house over a period of
