Today my mom and I were coming home from grocery shopping when this young boy of 11 or 12 jouts out across the intersection on his bike and almost ends up getting hit. I about had a heart-attack. Seriously a van was|this close to smashing into the boy. This is a very big and busy intersection and he didn't seem to want to wait for his turn to go. He just decided to go for it. My mom was ranting and raving and I agreed with her. Did this kid ever learn the proper way to handle traffic from anyone? Maybe the parents didn't teach him, maybe they did and the kid just didn't care, but he was awful close to learning a lesson the hard way.

I'm having a good time in Las Vegas so far. I will probably be here till Sunday and I'll leave early Monday morning. I haven't won any money so far, but I did lose $30. LOL. That's ok, it's been fun. Went to some buffets so far a couple of different casinos and swam a bit and I have spent a bunch of time with my family which has been nice. All and all I've had a nice time. Hope everyone is doing well!

I'm so excited. My sister, brother-in-law, niece and nephew from LV will be here later this afternoon. I'm very happy. Tomorrow we are going to go to the park with my mother and two other sisters and other nieces and nephews for a family gathering and picnic. I'm looking forward to it. It's suppose to be warm, but not to hot. It's going to be a great week! I hope everyone has a nice weekend. =)

On the 12th I will be heading down to Las Vegas to visit some family members. I will also be hitting the casinos. I plan on playing some slots and may play at the tables. I'm excited. I haven't been to Vegas for a few years. I'm more excited to be seeing my family though. They are going to come up here to visit for a bit then we will all drive back to Las Vegas together and I'll stay about 5 days. I will pop into LP every once in a while, (my family members have computers) to share in my blog how well, (or bad) I did at the casinos.

I just wanted to say that there really are some decent and kind people here at Lottery Post. I've been to many message boards over the years and this one is by far my favorite one to visit. And really, there are some great people here who do things that surprise you. I just want to Thank everyone here for making it a great place to post.

Looks like the tv drama based on a group of lottery winners is back on track! I saw another commercial for Windfall when I was watching Scrubs tonight. I remember I started a post back in October (you can find the post here.) about how the show was going to air, but it never happened. Apparently NBC didn't give up on it. If it does actually make it on air this summer I plan on watching it. It looks like it could be interesting.

Have you ever wondered what it would feel like to become a millionaire overnight? A group of 20 friends and acquaintances is about to find that out as they win $386 million in lottery on NBC's hot summer drama, Windfall.

At the heart of the events is a close-knit group of four friends. Peter (Luke Perry, Jeremiah, Beverly Hills, 90210) and Nina Schaefer (Lana Parrilla, Boomtown) and their two kids are a seemingly happy family. Underneath, Nina still harbors feelings for her ex-boyfriend from college, Cameron Walsh (Jason Gedrick, Boomtown), rousing the suspicions of his wife Beth (Sarah Wynter, 24).

Sean Mathers (D.J. Cotrona, Skin) is an ex-con with dark secrets that are in danger of being revealed when he wins the jackpot. Damien Cutler (Jon Foster, life as we know it) is a rebellious teenager who seeks independence of his parents. Frankie Townsend (Alice Greczyn, The Dukes of Hazzard, Quintuplets), a 16-year-old girl, finds herself in the middle of a family feud when her separated parents fight over the money.

Rounding out the cast are Malinda Willliams (Soul Food) as Kimberly George, a 22-year-old single mother hoping to start a new life far away from the trailer park, and Jaclyn DeSantis (Luis, Road Trip) as Maggie Hernandez, a nurse who can't wait to spend her share of the fortune.

Windfall is created by executive producer Laurie McCarthy (Felicity) and co-executive producer Gwendolyn Parker (Without a Trace, The Handler).

I purchased some more Wild Card 2 tickets for Wednesdays drawing. I didn't have any luck on Saturdays drawing. Hopefully I will do better tomorrow.

I did a bit more cleaning yesterday, but spent most of the day working on some fanlistings. I have another one that I am working on that I need to finish soon, but I need to take some screen caps from my dvd's. I'll either start doing that tonight or tomorrow, however it depends how I feel. I'm still not working to much on my main site. I guess I need to get motivated or something. I found a few pictures online that I want to use to make a new layout, but I really don't feel like working on it at the moment.

I like how the weather is a warmer but still has a cool breeze to it. I really love Spring (I also like Fall). Too bad in a month or so, it's going to get too hot to be comfortable. Then it will be time to pull out the air conditioner. *sigh*

Today I spent some time cleaning up a bit around the house. I did a thorough job on the livingroom and my bedroom and later my mom, sister and I will get to the other rooms. I would have done the job faster and it would have been eaiser if I didn't have deal with a splitting headache the whole time. I just got some non-asprin this afternoon after finding out that there wasn't any around the house when I woke up. I've had this headache since last night and it hasn't gone away.

I also bought some more Wild Card 2 tickets for this Saturdays drawing. Hopefully I will have some luck with that.

I ended up breaking even with my purchase on Wednesday. At least I didn't lose anything. However, I am kind of upset. I checked one of my tickets for April 22nd and if I had played the numbers on April 26th's drawing I would have won $500 and it was one number off from winning the jackpot! Gawd that is bad. I was so close, yet so far. Ha! Oh well, I guess all I can do is keep playing right? Can't look at something like that and say "what if", because it won't change anything.

I bought some more Wild Card 2 tickets for tomorrow's drawing. I won $2 dollars on Saturday's drawing, but I still spent more then I won so that wasn't a good win. Hopefully I will do better on Wednesday's drawing.

Well I haven't really used this blog at all, but I am thinking that I may try to keep it updated a bit more. I have other blogs and websites, but at the moment I don't feel like updating any of them much. I guess I am just in a mood.

I purchased some Idaho Wild Card 2 tickets. I wheeled some numbers and am going to see how that works. I am hoping I get more numbers then I have been getting. I can't seem to get a break in the game, but I do enjoy playing it.

In other news, my mother was upset with me about a check I had gotten and me not being able to cash it. I'm not going into details, but it isn't if I purposely went out of my way to make it so she couldn't get her money. She was swearing and getting pissy with the bank tellers and I was so embarrassed. And as I was leaving one the banks, my ankle gave out and I twisted it. My mother's response: "Are you ok?" in a rude voice as she stomps off to the car, barely even turning around to see if I was ok. Yeah thanks for caring that I hurt myself.

I purchased a premium membership for a month yesterday. So far I like it. In a bit I am going to check out the abb. wheels which I have been dying to use. =)
