George Washington, our nation's first President, died on Dec. 14, 1799. The tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School occurred exactly 213 years after. Comments welcome. 

Wouldn't it be a good idea to have the state lotteries provide more equitable prizes so more people can win?
