POTUS has been about law and order from day one which is why he's been draining the swamp. Federal troops can not be sent into a state to quell rioting unless the governor gives permission.  Trump has offered but blue state governors have refused with exception of Wisconsin recently. Seems governors in blue states choose to not protect their residents and residents must live in constant fear of their overreach of power over law abiding people while coddling rioters as we've recently witnessed. I've wondered the reason for this but apparently they've been sent the message Joe's going to win and you'll get a nice appointment for keeping your flock in line.
