California DMV director steps down as agency struggles with Real ID, Motor Voter

We will likely be hearing more about this in 2019.

"The California Department of Motor Vehicles on Wednesday said it has discovered it sent the Secretary of State’s Office 23,000 erroneous voter registrations.

The agency said the errors occurred within the state’s Motor Voter program — which allows eligible applicants getting a driver license to be automatically registered to vote.

"During Shiomoto’s tenure, the department struggled to implement new laws, including the state’s Motor Voter program — which launched earlier this year to automatically register people to vote when they visit the DMV. The department announced in September that it had  improperly registered thousands of Californians  through the program.

The DMV has also faced increased challenges with issuing federally-mandated Real ID cards, which are required by Oct. 1, 2020 for people who want to board airplanes and enter other federal facilities without a passport. The agency cited  Real ID as a major cause of  rising wait times this summer.

Shiomoto began to make improvements,  pushing the agency  to meet “an ambitious goal” she imposed to reduce wait times.

But Secretary of State Alex Padilla said last week that Shiomoto had “lost my confidence and trust” and called on Brown and Gov.-elect Gavin Newsom to “promptly appoint new leadership at the DMV.” ......."

The Democrats, who know Steel Slats (Wall) are necessary for Border Security, are putting politics over Country. What they are just beginning to realize is that I will not sign any of their legislation, including infrastructure, unless it has perfect Border Security. U.S.A. WINS!

Meanwhile Politico's Jake Sherman tweeted "WARNING ... I’ve spoken to multiple senior White House aides this morning who have no idea what the plan is for the stopgap spending bill. Concerns he might veto are rampant."

HURRAY! North Carolina just approved Voter ID as the law of the land!

In Georgia the state pays for an ID card if the person seeking it is unable to pay. No excuse to call it discriminatory. It is my hope voter ID requirement based on proving legal citizenship becomes a nationwide requirement in order to cast any ballot for any election.

This vote further reinforces that Republicans represent and work for legal citizens, Democrats represent and work for illegals.

Congratulations to North Carolina. Hurray!

HURRAY! North Carolina just approved Voter ID as the law of the land!

".....The Republican-led legislature took the final step to shrug off Democratic Gov. Roy Cooper’s veto of its photo ID bill, with the House voting 72-40 Wednesday to override after a long debate that touched on the state’s history of voter suppression.

The Senate took its override vote Tuesday.

Voter ID has been a long-time goal for Republicans. A voter ID requirement that passed as part of a 2013 bill was thrown out by federal courts in 2016. Republicans steered a photo voter ID question onto the November ballot as a constitutional amendment, and 55 percent of voters approved it.

The law counts as acceptable IDs driver licenses, passports, military and veteran IDs, tribal enrollment cards, college IDs, state ID cards issued to non-drivers, state and municipal employee IDs, and a new type of ID issued by local boards of election....."

  • A 2017 book identified Chepe as an organizer behind Smash Racism DC, the Antifa group that mobbed Fox News host Tucker Carlson’s home in November and ran Ted Cruz out of a restaurant in September. 

Smash Racism DC organizer Jose Martin, also known as “Chepe,” is a radical communist and Antifa leader operating in the U.S. He advocates for the violent overthrow of the government and for the murder of the rich and claims to have international involvement in left-wing movements...."
