"Sen. Charles Grassley, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, has sent a letter to FBI Director James Comey demanding the story behind the FBI's reported plan to pay the author of a lurid and unsubstantiated dossier on candidate Donald Trump. In particular, Grassley appears to be zeroing in on the FBI's deputy director, Andrew McCabe, indicating Senate investigators want to learn more about McCabe's role in a key aspect of the Trump-Russia affair...."

"....But the most noteworthy thing about Grassley's letter is its focus on McCabe. Grassley noted that McCabe is already under investigation by the FBI's inspector general for playing a top role in the Hillary Clinton email investigation even though McCabe's wife accepted nearly $700,000 in political donations arranged by a close Clinton friend, Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, for her run for state senate in Virginia.

"While Mr. McCabe recused himself from public corruption cases in Virginia…he failed to recuse himself from the Clinton email investigation," Grassley wrote, "despite the appearance of a conflict created by his wife's campaign accepting $700,000 from a close Clinton associate during the investigation." ...."

REPORT: Obama Officials Hand-Delivered List Of Russian Investigation Docs to Senate Before Inauguration

"Obama administration officials created a list of intelligence documents relating to Russian interference in the 2016 election, and passed that information to prominent lawmakers before Trump was sworn in, reports NBC News.

The documents were assembled, categorized, and serialized in January and sent to the Senate Intelligence Committee ahead of the incoming Trump administration, says one former Obama official.

The serial numbers relating to the documents are not classified, even though the reports themselves are. The purpose, according to an insider, was to make the information ‘harder to bury’ and ‘to share it with those on the Hill who could lawfully see the documents’.

The revelation is further evidence of a highly organized effort on the part of the previous administration to spread classified information. ...."

WikiLeaks has published hundreds more files today which it claims show the CIA went to great lengths to disguise its own hacking attacks and point the finger at Russia, China, North Korea and Iran.

The 676 files released today are part of WikiLeaks' Vault 7 tranche of files and they claim to give an insight into the CIA's Marble software, which can forensically disguise viruses, trojans and hacking attacks.

WikiLeaks says the source code suggests Marble has test examples in Chinese, Russian, Korean, Arabic and Farsi (the Iranian language) ...."

"....“We found over 320 nonpermanent residents that her office commissioned as notaries. Including one that was slated for final deportation,” Millis said. “It’s very concerning not just the fact that these individuals will have the ability to affirm items like oath, but also the ability in our state for them to certify absentee ballots.”

Millis says these same documents show Marshall’s office regularly accepted Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) cards as forms of identification which he claims on his website are not valid to prove residency. “A DACA card is a temporary employment authorization to facilitate safe and legitimate employment and income for otherwise undocumented aliens but does not confer legal immigration status.”  ....."
