Happy New Year to Everyone!  Gena is doing very well and tolerating her chemotherapy as well as expected for a 9 month old.  Some nausea and a lot of sleeping, what little hair she had is gone, but she is improving and she's happy a lot more often.  We had a great Christmas and we look forward to having a happier year in 2006.

On the 11th of January, Gena  will have her second plastic eye placed.  We expect all will go smoothly with that procedure and she will be home within 36 hours of the replacement.  My husband and I still consider ourselves blessed with three wonderful children and we look forward to many many happy times with all three of them.

Good Morning Everyone, and again thank each and every one of you for your prayers and thoughts for Baby Gena and my family.  I spoke with Jorli earlier this morning.  Gena's most recent brain wave testing showed normal brain wave activity.  Gena continues to respond to her mother's voice and touch and the doctors do believe they have removed enough pressure from the tumors at this time to alleviate Gena's inability to sleep consistently and to alleviate her vomiting and lack of appetite.

The brain wave testing will continue daily until tests to determine if those tumors are malignant or benign. I will update you on that as  soon as we know.

My family and I are truly thankful for all of your well wishes and prayers.

I cannot express that enough.  Jorli was very overcome with emotion from all the support and outpouring of care and prayers from all of you.

It is official.  Today the doctor verified my pregnancy. Daniel and I are very pleased.  Our 10 month old son Jordan, just began walking earlier this month, and he is making his mark around the house.  As with Jordan, we do not want to know ahead of time the sex of this baby, but whatever it is, we cannot wait for it to get here.

My due date is March 27....sigh...seems so far away.
