Well after a nice start to the week my pick four wins came to a screeching halt. I had five going into Thursday and hit a dry spell. So many combinations came in with repeating digits and that's what did me in. So I'm going to give it another try this week and see if I can get back on track. If you post long enough and play long enough you will hit a cold streak in which you will have a decision to make, lay off or keep going and I feel it's a keep going situation. So I'll hit it again this week and see what happens. I have also had a lot of near wins the last few months, at first I was totally upset about this but now not so much. First of all I had to remind myself that the lottery is set up to beat you, otherwise they wouldn't be in business. All the systems, data, and work you put in to picking numbers and it's still the luck of the draw. Also I didn't invest very much money in those near misses and have some bankroll left and think I can nab a nice win before years end. Good Luck everybody, here's to winning some holiday cash.

I'm playing my posted pick four plays at 5 dimes all week long. 25 cents box in 40 States. $100.00 a day, risking $700.00 for the week. For those who don't know 25 cents box pays $93.75. So I'll need 8 hits for the week to make a profit. I know I'm giving up the straight payout, but I'm looking for a small amount of profit weekly which will add up nicely over time. I was talking to a friend of mine and he asked me how much money I play on my numbers and I told him, usually two dollars st. & a dollar bx. and he suggested I try pounding one or two. So maybe this week when you and I go to buy tickets we pick one number and pound it. Maybe put three to five times the amount of money than we normally do, even if it's just for just one draw, I did this over the weekend and even though I didn't win, it really got my heart pumping. Well, good news bad news. The bad news, I've played through my $200.00 bankroll and it's only the 14 days into the month. The good news, I hit pick four tonight for $200.00 scoring a last minute win. Here are the bankroll test results.

Well here's how I stand. I've been hitting hard considering I am allowing myself a $200.00 bankroll for the month.

A lot of near misses, but I know they don't pay. I thought I play hard instead of dividing up my bankroll for the month but this now looks like a bad idea. If I happen to go through the rest of my bankroll in the next week or so, will I have the will power to sit on the sidelines for the rest of the month. I'm not sure, I'll keep ya posted. I've made a decision for the month of October. I'm going to limit myself to $200.00 worth of Lottery bankroll for the month. I have never limited myself but I'm going to do this for two reasons. One, in order to see if I can that is have the will power not to play if I run through my bankroll. An two, it seems if I win I play more but that dosen't translate into more winnings it only reduces them. I believe there is a fine line between money wagered and money won and want to see if I can find it. The rules I have in place for myself are as follows, I will stop once I have wagered my $200.00 bankroll. I will not wager any winnings, so if I hit that money will not be added to my bankroll. I will play any Lottery games I choose (p-3, p-4, lotto, instant and etc..) and deduct the ticket price from my bankroll.  As I play through my bankroll I will post my winnings (if any) and my current bankroll balance. So be sure to check my blogs for updates. I also want to state that I average about five hundred plus a month in lottery play, so this will be a major cut back and will see if this will help me win on a monthly basis.  An lastly my posted predictions will not and do not reflect my monthly bankroll. I use my posted predictions to help others and try different idea's to increase ways of winning. One thing I feel less is more, the more you play and the more numbers you pick the more you will lose. Today I am going to challange the Lottey Post Generator.  I have selected five pick three and pick four combinations for Tuesday's drawings(good for all states)an used the L.P. Well if yesterday couldn't get any worse. I didn't see what today had in store for me. I just missed hitting for $2,500 yesterday (see previous blog entry) and today midday in IL. the winning number was 1728 and my number that I've been playing for the longest time is 3728. A $10,000 near miss. This is starting to get funny in a no so funny way. I understand that the odds are against playing the lottery and you will lose more than you will win. But I have about $25,000 grand worth of near misses this year. An I'm only playing a small amount of numbers. So I'm really unlucky or just short of being great prognosticator? Either way I dont know how to fix it, so if anyone out there has any ideas I sure like to hear them. Help!
