Woman wearing MAGA hat harassed at post office: 'Your president is racist'

American/Mexican Beauty Woman wearing MAGA hat is harassed at post office: 'Your president is racist'

Paloma Zuniga was harassed by a woman in a California post office for wearing a MAGA hat.

Another  President Trump supporter was assaulted in a post office for wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat, turning a camera on her harasser.

On Friday, Paloma Zuniga, a Mexican-American businesswoman was mailing a package at a post office in San Diego, Calif. when, according to her, a woman ahead of her in line said, “You should be ashamed of yourself for wearing that hat, you stupid b****.”

Zuniga says she ignored the woman but switched on her camera. “As a Trump supporter, I deal with this kind of stuff a lot,” Zuniga tells Yahoo Lifestyle. The “political influencer” of the Facebook account  Paloma for Trump, has admired the president since 2007, especially his position on immigration and “the voice and courage he gives to Americans.”

On Zuniga’s recording, the woman says, “Don’t talk to me and don’t record me.” The video gets shaky, which Zuniga says occurred because the woman struck her phone and grabbed her wrist. “Don’t touch me!” yells Zuniga. “You have no reason to harass me because of my hat.”

The woman says she didn’t harass Zuniga, but a postal worker claims, “I saw it.”

“I don’t care if you don’t agree with me,” says Zuniga. “I have a right to wear it.”

“OK, racist,” says the woman, yelling, “The president is racist.” She demands to speak to a supervisor and the employee threatens to call the police.

The woman turns around and smacks Zuniga’s phone. “I said, don’t tape me!” she yells, and in turn, records Zuniga.

“Make sure you share it everywhere because I support the president of America,” says Zuniga. “And if you don’t agree with it, you should move somewhere else.”

The woman points her phone toward Zuniga’s package and says, “Let me get your address,” zeroing in on the P.O. Box address. “Got it,” she says before the video ends.

Zuniga tells Yahoo Lifestyle that she filled out a police report online. A spokesperson from  San Diego Police Department’s  Southern Division did not return Yahoo Lifestyle’s after-hours media request, and the post office on Dennery Road was not open at the time of publication.

“A lot of people film me when I wear my MAGA hat and if it bothers me, I walk away or try to avoid attention,” says Zuniga. “I don’t strike out. But when people lash out at me, I energize.”

Zuniga tells Yahoo Lifestyle she did not fear for her life. “I have been through much worse. It puts these things into perspective.”

Our California Has Become America's Cannibal State :-(

Our California Has Become America’s Cannibal State

By  Victor Davis Hanson|April 10th, 2019

For over six years, California has had a top marginal income tax rate of 13.3 percent, the highest in the nation. About 150,000 households in a state of 40 million people now pay nearly half of the total annual state income tax.

The state legislature sold that confiscatory tax rate on the idea that it was a temporary fix and would eventually be phased out. No one believed that. California voters, about 40 percent of whom pay no state income taxes, naturally approved the extension of the high rate by an overwhelming margin.

California recently raised gas taxes by 40 percent and now has the second-highest gas taxes in the United States.

California has the ninth-highest combined state and local sales taxes in the country, but its state sales tax of 7.3 percent is America’s highest. As of April 1, California is now applying that high state sales tax to goods that residents buy online from out-of-state sellers.

In late 2017, the federal government capped state and local tax deductions at $10,000. For high earners in California, the change effectively almost doubled their state and local taxes.

Such high taxes, often targeting a small percentage of the population, may have brought California a budget surplus of more than $20 million. Yet California is never satiated with high new tax rates that bring in additional revenue. It’s always hungry for more.

Scott Wiener, a Democratic state senator from San Francisco, has introduced a bill that would create a new California estate tax. Wiener outlined a death tax of 40 percent on estates worth more than $3.5 million for single Californians or more than $7 million for married couples.

Given the soaring valuations of California properties, a new estate tax could force children to sell homes or family farms they inherited just to pay the tax bills.

Soon, even more of the Californian taxpayers who chip in to pay half of the state income taxes will flee in droves for low-tax or no-tax states.

What really irks California taxpayers are the shoddy public services that they receive in exchange for such burdensome taxes. California can be found near the bottom of state rankings for schools and infrastructure.

San Francisco ranks first among America’s largest cities in property crimes per capita. The massive concrete ruins of the state’s quarter-built and now either canceled or postponed multibillion-dollar high-speed rail system are already collecting graffiti.

Roughly a quarter of the nation’s homeless live in California. So do about one-third of all Americans on public assistance. Approximately one-fifth of the state’s population lives below the poverty line. About one-third of Californians are enrolled in Medi-Cal, the state’s health care program for low-income residents.

California’s social programs are magnets that draw in the indigent from all over the world, who arrive in search of generous health, education, legal, nutritional and housing subsidies. Some 27 percent of the state’s residents were not born in the United States.

Last month alone, nearly 100,000 foreign nationals were stopped at the southern border, according to officials. Huge numbers of migrants are able to make it across without being caught, and many end up in California.

A lot of upper-middle-class taxpayers feel that not only does California fail to appreciate their contributions, but that the state often blames them for not paying even more—as if paying about half of their incomes to local, state and federal governments somehow reveals their greed.

The hyper-wealthy liberal denizens of Hollywood, Silicon Valley and the coastal enclaves often seem exempt from the consequences of the high taxes they so often advocate for others. The super-rich either have the clout to hire experts to help them avoid such taxes, or they simply have so much money that they are not much affected by even California’s high taxes.

What is the ideology behind such destructive state policies?

Venezuela, which is driving out its middle class, is apparently California’s model. Venezuelan leaders believed in providing vast subsidies for the poor. The country’s super-rich are often crony capitalists who can avoid high taxes.

Similarly, California is waging an outright war on the upper-middle class, which lacks the numbers of the poor and the clout of the rich.

Those who administer California’s plagued department of motor vehicles and high-speed rail authority may often be inept and dysfunctional, but the state’s tax collectors are the most obsessive bureaucrats in the nation. What is Sacramento’

this message to those who combine to pay half the state’s income taxes and have not yet left California?

“Be gone or we will eat you!”

The BIKER :-)

Biker

A rookie police officer pulled a biker over for speeding and had the following exchange:

• Officer: May I see your driver's license?

• Biker: I don't have one. I had it suspended when I got my 5th DUI.

• Officer: May I see the owner's card for this vehicle?

• Biker: It's not my bike. I stole it.

• Officer: The motorcycle is stolen?

• Biker: That's right. But come to think of it, I think I saw the owner's card in the tool bag when I was putting my gun in there.

Officer: There's a gun in the tool bag?

• Biker: Yes sir. That's where I put it after I shot and killed the dude who owns this bike and stuffed his dope in the saddle bags.

• Officer: There's drugs in the saddle bags too?!?!?

• Biker: Yes, sir. Hearing this, the rookie immediately called his captain. The biker was quickly surrounded by police, and the captain approached the biker to handle the tense situation:

• Captain: Sir, can I see your license?

• Biker: Sure. Here it is. It was valid.

• Captain: Who's motorcycle is this?

• Biker: It's mine, officer. Here's the registration.

• Captain: Could you slowly open your tool bag so I can see if there's a gun in it?

• Biker: Yes, sir, but there's no gun in it. Sure enough, there was nothing in the tool bag.

• Captain: Would you mind opening your saddle bags? I was told you said there's drugs in them.

• Biker: No problem. The saddle bags were opened; no drugs.

• Captain: I don't understand it. The officer who stopped you said you told him you didn't have a license, stole this motorcycle, had a gun in the tool bag, and that there were drugs in the saddle bags.

• Biker: Yeah, I'll bet he told you I was speeding, too.

Conquest of Paradise Lyrics
     🎶
"There shines a light in the heart of man
That defies the dead of the night
A beam that glows within every soul
Like wings of hope taking flight
A sunny day, when a baby's born
The little things that we say
A special sparkle in someone's eye
Simple gifts, every day
Somewhere there's a paradise
Where everyone finds release
It's here on earth and between your eyes
A place we all find our peace
Come - open your heart ❤️
Reach for the stars
Believe your own power
Now, here in this place
Here on this earth
This is the hour
It's just a place we call paradise
Each of us has his own

It has no name, it has no price
It's just a place we call home
A dream…"

A teacher asked her class how many of them were  Bernie
Sanders fans.

Not really knowing what a Bernie Sanders fan is, but wanting to
be liked by the teacher, all the kids raised their
hands except for Little Johnny.

The teacher asked Little Johnny why he has decided to be
different...again.

Little Johnny said, 'Because I'm not a Bernie Sanders fan.'

The teacher asked, 'Why aren't you a Bernie Sanders fan?'

Johnny said, 'Because I'm a Conservative.'

The teacher asked him why he's a Conservative.
Little Johnny answered, 'Well, my Mum's
a Conservative and my Dad's a Conservative, so I'm a
Conservative.'

Annoyed by this answer, the teacher asked,
'If your Mum was a Moron and your Dad was an idiot, what would that make you?'

Little Johnny replied,
'A  Bernie Sanders fan.'

Today’s Democrats don’t even bother to hide their communist leanings

The party is becoming raidly radicalized.

Erik Verduzco/Las Vegas Review-Journal Follow @Erik_Verduzco
By Wayne Allyn Root / Las Vegas Review-Journal

I’m starting to think Joe McCarthy wasn’t wrong, just ahead of the curve. I wasn’t even born when McCarthy was going after communists in our government and political class. But history says he was wrong. OK, let’s accept that assessment.

That was then. This is now. Today’s Democratic Party is no longer hiding its infatuation with socialist, Marxist and even communist philosophy. And that, my friends, is un-American. Because to embrace the radical views of today’s Democratic Party is to embrace the end of America and everything our Founding Fathers believed in.

First, it’s important to examine the economic news last week. On Thursday, we found out U.S. jobless claims fell to 49-year lows, below all forecasts. The last time this few Americans were out of work was 1969.

Then, on Friday, the Labor Department reported the U.S. economy added 196,000 jobs in March, far exceeding expectations. The Trump economy is booming. Capitalism is a roaring success.

Who could possibly be angry at these results? Who could deny the economy is booming? Who would desperately demand a change?

Today’s Democrats hate these results. They demand a dramatic change in course. Today’s Democratic Party is turning toward the darkest political philosophy in history. Remember, the problem isn’t just the misery and unimaginable poverty caused by socialism and communism. During the 20th century, about 100 million souls were murdered in the name of communism.

Even The Atlantic, a left-leaning publication, ran a story days ago headlined “The Democratic Party is Radicalizing.” The piece listed what today’s leading Democrats stand for:

The Green New Deal, which would (in their words) “completely transform the American economy, put the federal government in control over large sectors, retrofit every building in America … and constitute by far the greatest centralization of power in American history.”

— Making all college “free.”

— Making all health care “free.”

— Increasing the top marginal tax rate to 70 percent.

— Abolishing ICE, protecting sanctuary cities and taking down all existing walls on the southern border.

— Eliminating the Senate filibuster, packing the Supreme Court with extra judges and abolishing the Electoral College.

— Reparations for black Americans. This actually makes The Green New Deal sound sane.

— Allowing abortions up until the moment of birth or even after birth.

— Opposing and, in many cases, hating Israel, America’s long time best friend.

This is all public. The only question: What separates this “wish list” from the agenda of the Communist Party USA?

The answer: Nothing.

But if you require more proof: Eight prominent Democrat presidential candidates gathered in D.C. last week for the We the People Conference. The conference began with the organizer invoking the words of radical, communist Black Panther Joanne Chesimard (now known as Assata Shakur), a convicted cop killer.

The event organizer called this terrorist cop killer a “leader.” Then he asked the audience to stand up and repeat her words. They all stood and celebrated with glee.

Shakur’s words were taken from the final sentences of the “Communist Manifesto” by Karl Marx. Think about that: Eight prominent Democrat presidential contenders were present in the room while attendees recited and celebrated the words of communist founder Karl Marx and a communist cop killer.

Remember this when you vote in 2020. It’s Trump’s America or it’s a dark, radical, socialist, Marxist, communist America that celebrates cop killers. Then, vote like your country, your life and your children’s future depend on it. Because they do....."

GO CANADA: Now If only the USA would have the same guts!!

If only the USA would get the same guts!!!

GO CANADA  !    Well Said Mayor Dorval, Quebec mayor.

"PUT  SOME PORK ON YOUR FORK"

A commercial promoting pork says:    "PUT SOME PORK ON YOUR FORK"       The MAYOR REFUSES TO REMOVE PORK FROM SCHOOL CAFETERIA MENU AND EXPLAINS WHY:

Muslim parents demanded the abolition of pork in all the school canteens of a Montreal suburb.        The mayor of the Montreal suburb of Dorval has refused, and the town clerk sent a note to all parents to explain why.

"Muslims must understand that they have to adapt to Canada and Quebec, its customs, its traditions, and its way of life, because that's where they chose to immigrate.

"Muslims must understand that they have to integrate and learn to live in  Quebec.          "They must understand that it is for them to change their lifestyle, not the Canadians who, so generously, welcomed them.

"Muslims must understand that Canadians are neither racist nor xenophobic.  Canada accepted many immigrants before Muslims showed up (whereas the reverse is not true, in  that  Muslim states do not accept non-Muslim immigrants)."

"Just like other nations, Canadians are not willing to give up their identity or their culture " And, if Canada is a land of welcome, it's not the Mayor of Dorval who welcomes foreigners, but the Canadian-Quebecois people as a whole.

"Finally,  they must understand that in Canada (Quebec) with its Judeo-Christian roots, Christmas trees, churches and religious festivals, religion must remain in the private domain."      The  municipality of Dorval was right to refuse any concessions to Islam and Sharia.

"For Muslims who disagree with secularism and do not feel comfortable in Canada, there are 57 beautiful Muslim countries in the world, most of them under-populated and ready to receive them with open halal arms in accordance with Sharia.

"If you left          your country for Canada, and not for other Muslim countries, it is because you have considered that life is better in Canada than      elsewhere. We will not let you drag Canada down to the level of those 57 countries.        Ask    yourself this question - just once: "Why is it better here in Canada than where you  came from?"  "A canteen with pork on the menu is part of the  answer."

If you came to Canada with the idea that you will displace us with your prolific propagation and eventually take over the country, you should pack up and go back to the country you came from.  We have no room here for you and your ideology.

'Anti-Jewish' Democrats completely abandoning their historic support for Israel

'Anti-Jewish' Democrats completely abandoning their historic support for Israel | At White House, President Trump with signed proclamation on the Golan Heights alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Privacy Policy

Foreign policy isn’t usually so black and white. But the contrast between President Trump’s steadfast support for Israel and the festering anti-Semitism within the Democratic Party is truly striking.

When Trump officially recognized Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights, Democrats reacted with the same studied indifference they showed when he moved the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem in 2018, marked by a ceremony that  not a single Democrat politician attended.

So far, not one Democratic candidate for president has publicly supported this historic show of support for America’s closest ally in the Middle East, which affirms Israel’s legitimate control over a strategically significant area that is vital to Israel’s ability to defend itself from hostile powers in the region.

Michael Glassner (Handout)

On the other hand, the decision was heartily applauded by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who  said, “Mr. President, over the years, Israel has been blessed to have many friends who sat in the Oval Office, but Israel has never had a better friend than you.”

Israel truly does have a great friend in the White House — sadly, the same can’t be said for the Democratic Party.

Democrats used to be among Israel’s most fervent supporters, but today, the few remaining pro-Israel Democrats are being cowed into silence by the far-left extremists who have taken over the Party.

Not one of the nearly two-dozen 2020 Democratic presidential candidates attended the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) conference this week, a gathering that has historically been a big draw for leading politicians in both parties. Senators Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris, and Elizabeth Warren, as well as former Congressman Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke and several others, even made it a point to announce publicly that  they would not be attending the AIPAC conference.

The boycott was stunning in light of the  uproar sparked by Democratic Representative Ilhan Omar’s anti-Semitic tweets alleging that Republican support for Israel is bought with political contributions from Americans who support Israel.

Omar, in fact, has a long history of making anti-Semitic remarks. In 2012, for instance, she notoriously  said that "Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel."

More recently, she  compared Israel to repressive theocracies such as Iran and Saudi Arabia.

Throughout it all, the Democratic Party has sheltered and protected Omar, even  watering down a resolution denouncing anti-Semitism after some Democrats complained that it would be “Islamophobic,” even though the resolution didn’t mention Omar specifically.

For Jewish Americans and supporters of Israel, this isn’t only offensive, it’s frightening.

Hostility toward Israel isn’t limited to Omar, though.

In 2017, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand  withdrew her support for legislation to

combat the “Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions” (BDS) movement that wages a global campaign of economic terrorism against Israel. That same year, Senator Cory Booker  voted against a bill that would stop U.S. funding of the Palestinian Authority, a major financier of anti-Israel terrorism.

Delegates at the 2012 Democratic National Convention actually  booed the inclusion of a pro-Israel position in the party platform. Five years after that, the Democrats selected former Rep. Keith Ellison, a man  deeply connected to the anti-Semitic Nation of Islam, to serve as the Party’s deputy chairman.

Perhaps President Trump put it best  saying, “I don’t know what’s happened to them, but they are totally anti-Israel… Frankly, I think they’re anti-Jewish.”

The Democrats’ disturbing treatment of Israel stands in stark contrast to the Trump administration's unflinching support for America’s closest ally in the Middle East.

Thankfully, no matter how radical the Democratic Party becomes, Trump’s actions continue to reassure the people of Israel that America stands behind them and will never back down.

BEST OF THE WEB: America's Amazing Job Market $$ :-)

America’s Amazing Job Market

The NFIB March survey shows small businesses hiring at close to a record pace.

By

James Freeman

April 4, 2019 12:43 p.m. ET

Contractors work at a Nashville construction site this week. The March NFIB jobs report shows open positions at 57% of construction firms participating in the survey.

U.S. small businesses continued their aggressive hunt for new workers and added employees at a near-record pace in March. That’s according to the latest employment report from the National Federation of Independent Business, due out later today.

“Job creation was solid in March with a net addition of 0.50 workers per firm (including those making no change in employment), close to February’s record of 0.52, and up from 0.33 in January,” reports NFIB Chief Economist William Dunkelberg. “Owners are trying to hold on to the employees that they have due to a highly competitive labor market,” he adds.

As in recent months, small firms are hiring a lot, but not as much as they’d like. According to Mr. Dunkelberg:

Sixty percent reported hiring or trying to hire (up 3 points), but 54 percent (90 percent of those hiring or trying to hire) reported few or no qualified applicants for the positions they were trying to fill (up 5 points). “Qualified” includes having position-appropriate skills but also encompasses... appearance, attitude, social skills... wage expectations, and work history. Twenty-one percent of owners cited the difficulty of finding qualified workers as their Single Most Important Business Problem, only 4 points below the record high.

Economics says that to solve a worker shortage, businesses of all sizes will have to start meeting more of those wage expectations. Adds the NFIB chief economist:

Wage costs are rising as owners must pay more to attract and retain needed workers from a well-picked over pool of potential applicants. A net 33 percent reported higher compensation in March, up 2 points. Twenty percent (net) planned increases in the next few months (up 2 points), a good leading indicator of future compensation gains.

Also encouraging in this latest NFIB survey is that owners report robust hiring plans. But Mr. Dunkelberg warns that fulfilling them may require more than wage increases:

In construction for example, only 6 percent complain about the cost of labor but 34 percent lament about the lack of qualified workers.

Still, he notes that the “strength in hiring plans and the record-high levels of job openings” add up to a “positive indicator for economic growth. Hiring a worker is an investment. The widespread willingness of small business owners to increase employment indicates that they see an economy that will be solid enough to deliver a return on their labor investment.”

For employment across the economy as a whole, investors and workers will be watching Friday’s Labor Department report for March after a disappointing February increase of just 20,000 jobs.

Also, next week will bring the latest government report on total open positions in the U.S. economy. The  last report showed a new record high of 7.6 million job openings in January--compared to 6.5 million Americans classified as unemployed.

A year ago this column called it the best time ever to look for a job. The data since then—including today’s NFIB report—show that it’s lately become even more of a seller’s market for labor and strongly suggest that workers can expect rising wages.

Lament Letter of Unknown Confederate Officer

I asked for strength that I might achieve;

I was made weak that I might learn humbly to obey.

I asked for health that I might do greater things;

I was given infirmity that I might do better things.

I asked for riches that I might be happy;

I was given poverty that I might be wise.

I asked for power that I might have the praise of men;

I was given weakness that I might feel the need of God.

I asked for all things that I might enjoy life;

I was given life that I might enjoy all things.

I got nothing that I asked for

but everything that I had hoped for.

Almost despite myself my unspoken prayers were answered,

I am, among all men, most richly blessed.Blue Angel

Sun Sentinel Trump getting credit deserves 4 fixing Obama's economy

Florida Sun Sentinel paper

All of our South Florida restaurant coverage

Trump is getting the credit he deserves for fixing Obama’s economy

Trump’s policies have sparked the greatest economic renaissance America has seen in decades, and no amount of political spin can conceal that fact from the millions of Americans who have benefitted, writes the author. (Evan Vucci / AP)

Julio Gonzalez

President Trump is doing wonders for the U.S. economy, and voters are taking notice.

According to a recent CNN poll, 71 percent of Americans believe the economy is doing well — the highest level of positivity recorded by the survey since 2001. Likewise, a 51 percent majority of Americans also approve of President Trump’s handling of the economy, while only 42 percent of respondents disapprove.

This level of support for the president’s booming economy tells the sort of “morning in America” story that sends voters flocking to the polls to re-elect an incumbent president.

“The President's strong reviews on the economy come as a plurality say their personal financial situation is better off today than it was three years ago — before Trump took office,” CNN reported, noting that more than 80 percent of respondents said their finances have improved or stayed the same since President Trump’s inauguration.

At the same point in Barack Obama’s presidency, on the other hand, only 16 percent of Americans thought the economy was in good shape, compared to 84 percent who rated it as “somewhat” or “very” poor.

The economic confidence that Trump has inspired among voters isn’t a fluke, either. For more than two years, he has fought hard to repair America’s economic engine, implementing pro-growth policies to restore the prosperity lost from the Great Recession through Obama’s presidency. That approach has paid tremendous dividends, with nearly five million new jobs created in just over two years.

In a recent interview with Breitbart News, Trump explained that he considers the economic recovery his biggest accomplishment, arguing that his effort to deregulate the private sector paved the way for economic growth across America.

“Regulations were killing the country,” he said, referring to the draconian bureaucratic state established under President Obama. “We were going down.”

Ten months after his inauguration, President Trump also succeeded in passing historic middle-class tax cuts — a move that boosted the economy even further. Meanwhile, his commitment to protecting American workers from unfair global competition by renegotiating harmful trade deals has created stability in the labor market and pushed the unemployment rate to the lowest level in decades.

The good news doesn’t stop there, though.

According to the most recent data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the total number of Americans on food stamps fell to 37 million people in December 2018, a decrease of nearly three million people since Trump took office. That’s the lowest number in nearly a decade, and a clear sign that the President is keeping his promise to raise struggling families out of poverty.

The workers who no longer have to rely on the federal government for such basic necessities as food because they now have jobs that allow them to provide for their families know exactly who to thank for their newfound prosperity.

Trump’s policies have sparked the greatest economic renaissance America has seen in decades, and no amount of political spin can conceal that fact from the millions of Americans who are better off today thanks to his efforts.
