Went to the store this morning to put some of my numbers in for the Mid-day draw. And the lady behind the counter said do you ever have any luck with scratch cards, I said I hadn't gotten any in a few weeks. So I said what the hay let me get a few. Good thing I stopped by that store.

In this life we have to realize in order to change we have to start with the Man in the Mirrorand some people say you Wanna Bestarting something, I said no I have come to realize this walk with Christ let’s me tell others that it’s just Another part of me.Now trust me along the way I have met some Billie Jean’s, a Dirty Dianaand some I even considered Ben(a rat).
I will continue to tell the Lord daily You rock my Worldand the Way you make me feelmakes this Christian walk a Thriller.Now trust me the enemy rears his head sometimes and I tell him to Beat It & Leave me alone. This walk can be like ABCeasy as 123and isn’t it just like the Lord to say You are not alonejust Remember the timebecause I just can’t stop Loving you!!!

Well I sent another question to the NCEL and boy when I tell you the responses get better everytime. My question at hand was the 506 on consecutive evening draws... All I can say is WTF!!!!!

Again, The security and integrity of all of our games are of utmost importance. Many steps are taken to ensure the integrity.   

An external auditor is present at every drawing, (Pick 3, Cash 5 & Powerball) and the ball set and draw machine are randomly selected before each drawing in the presence of the auditor. Tests are conducted before and after the live drawing, and the draw team reviews the numbers selected to sure that there are no patterns or sequences of numbers. If repeat numbers are noted, the ball set will be replaced and three additional tests will be conducted. If at anytime during the draw process the external auditor notes anything at all that concerns them, they can call the drawing foul and a new drawing will be conducted with a new ball set and new draw machine.  The ball sets are weighed and checked periodically and there are back-up sets that can replace any ball set that the draw team or auditor has concerns about. Again, the integrity of our games is very important to the NC Education Lottery.

 

·          Odds of same Pick3 numbers occurring in successive draws:  1 in 1,000.  (I have seen too press articles from other states refer to this as 1 in 1 million, but that is incorrect.  This is a conditional probability, and given that 506 was drawn on Friday night, the odds of drawing 506 on Saturday night was 1 in 1,000.)

·          All three ball sets were different between the nights.

·          The air pumps used to open the doors in the draw machines were different between the nights.

·          The Pick3 machine used was the same.  We have 3 machines in active rotation at the Draw Studio, so odds of the same machine being used on successive nights is 1 out of 3.

·    For both draws, all pre and post-tests passed NCEL criteria without incident
