My site LuckSmith.com publishes a list of lucky drawings for each day, based on how its predictions have performed in the past for popular lottery games across the country. Periodically I publish additional insight and background about those games and the expected predictions from the LuckSmith system. This is all speculation, based on past performance and analysis of prior drawings, and anyone wagering hard-earned cash should take that into consideration before playing. New Jersey Pick 6

In the NJ Pick 6 game, the last PowerSet containing 6/6 was in August. PowerSets with 5/6 appeared in June, and in the most recent drawing. There isn’t a tremendous amount of history to support a 6/6 result for tonight, but the history we do have on a PowerSet this size is good. The system suggests the following numbers look likely: 2 17 28 31 35 40 45 48 56

 

New Jersey Cash 5

The last PowerSets that contained all 5 winners happened in June and July, the most recent drawing with a set of 29 numbers only had 3 of the winners. Overall the prediction accuracy is off a bit for this game, but 29 is the largest set size we’ve seen recently so it is more likely to do better than smaller sets. The following numbers look more likely to appear, based on historical analysis: 10 19 22 23 24 31 34

 

Texas Cash 5

Predictions for this game are doing well, 3.9/5 overall, and this PowerSet also does fairly well, with a total of 4 PowerSets having 5/5, and 6 having 4/5. The last set with 5/5 happened in July, so we’re due to see 5/5 anytime. Likely numbers for tonight could include: 5 6 10 12 13 19 23 31

 

Florida Fantasy 5

Always a strong performer, the predicted set for tonight is 27, which is has had 5 sets in the recent past with 5/5, and 6 with 4/5. The historical data for a set this size is pretty significant, and the last 5/5 set was in July, so we’re due for another anytime on this game as well. Likely numbers could be among the following: 1 7 8 14 15 20 24 31 32

 

Ohio Rolling Cash 5

Predictions for this game have been among the best we’ve ever seen, but around the middle of this year the accuracy started to slip. It appears to be coming back now, with a PowerSet this size (30 numbers) hitting 5/5 on August 30, and other sets are looking strong in recent history. It may still take time for the predictions to return to their former glory, but a set of 30 numbers is a popular size, and it has done well in the past. Likely lucky numbers for tonight could include 3 5 7 9 11 17 19 20 30

Here are results for the two highlighted Lucky Games for 8/26/2008.

FL Fantasy 5

Drawing: 01-22-27-33-35

Predicted:        4.18 out of 5 (average)
Actual:             4 out of 5

Lucky numbers: 1, 3, 4, 8, 11, 22, 25, 28, 29

The results were in line with the predictions for the most part. I hoped we'd see 5/5, but I'm not in charge of that. Glad to see two lucky numbers hit.

CO Cash 5

Drawing: 05-14-18-22-32

Predicted: 3.8 out of 5 (average)
Actual: 3 out of 5

Lucky numbers: 2, 4, 5, 24, and 32. (Additionally, 10, 15, 17, 21, and 25)

The system didn't match the expected result, but the lucky number results were encouraging.

Fortunately, both of these games are on the Lucky Games list again tomorrow. The FL Fantasy 5 set will again contain 27 numbers, as will the Colorado Cash 5 set.

For FL Fantasy 5, the predicted accuracy again is 4.18 out of 5. Lucky numbers for tomorrow look to be 4, 7, 8, 10, 13, 16, 17, 27, 29, and 35.

For CO Cash 5, the set is larger, meaning it's more likely to have all of the winning numbers, but will provide less of an advantage in terms of improving the odds. Still a help if it has all the winning numbers, but not as significant as when the PowerSet has only 23 or 24 numbers. (The average accuracy is 4.2 out of 5 for a set of 27 numbers). Lucky numbers for Cash 5 tomorrow look to include 2, 4, 13, 15, and 24. Also looking possible are 5, 9, 10, 19, and 22.

Texas Lotto is also on the lucky list, and it's PowerSet may perform well, based on history. It contains 35 numbers, rather than the standard 54, which is a significant reduction. Historically, PowerSets of this size have had an average accuracy of more than 5 out of 6, which is excellent. If all of the winning numbers are in the PowerSet, it will provide a significant odds improvement. Lucky numbers for Texas Lotto look to include 2, 3, 7, 10, 17, 27, 30, 32, 38, 43, 47, and 51.

As with all predictions, these are pure speculation based on our system's analysis of past activity to determine how that might predict what happens in the future. I always advise responsible playing, and Lottery Post gives people an ideal way to get the lottery "fix" without having to spend the hard-earned money.

The Lucky Games list at LuckSmith.com is a compilation of prediction data collected and generated over the past several years. It's a window into how the system might perform in the future, based on what has happened in the past. Hardly a guarantee, but one factor you can consider as you play.

Florida Fantasy 5
LuckSmith has done well with FL Fantasy 5 lately, with 2 4/5 winners within the last month. Today, the PowerSet for Fantasy 5 contains 27 numbers, down 9 from the standard set of 36. In the last 11 PowerSets with this many numbers, the average accuracy was more than 4 out of 5. If tonight's PowerSet contains all of the winning numbers, it will improve the odds about 80%, down to roughly 1 in 80,000 for winning the jackpot. (The standard odds are around 1 in 376,000). 

Tonight, the prediction engine indicates the numbers 1, 3, 4, 8, 11, 22, 25, 28, and 29 have a higher likelihood of appearing in the drawing. Oftentimes, one or two of these numbers appears, but rarely all of them. Again this is no guarantee, but the historical data points to these numbers being primed for an appearance.

Colorado Cash 5
Typically one of LuckSmith's best games for predictions, tonight's PowerSet for Cash 5 has only 22 numbers, down 10 from the standard 32. A set this size has happened 8 times, and the average accuracy is just below 4/5 of the winning numbers. Only one of those sets contained less than 4 of the winning numbers, and one contained all 5.

The numbers that look likely tonight based on past performance, include 2, 4, 5, 24, and 32. Additionally, 10, 15, 17, 21, and 25 look strong, but not as clearly so as the first group.

As with all lottery predictions, from any system, these are pure speculation and based on analysis done of past game performance.
