I just went out in my vehicle and their was a talk host talking about comments that Jessie Jackson made about the muslim religion and Obama. It was not a good comment that Jessie made.

I'm going with Obama ,Joe is making big money and doesn't want to pay his share of taxes. Obama is giving 95% of middleclass working people tax cuts. My husband and I have already lost our 401k's due to Bush and AIG's 400,000 parties. Oh by the way my husband WAS suppose to retire in March but they partied our money away, with their 14.6 million dollars vacation house in Florida. Must be nice. I wouldn't know. kttrm

What Barry wants to do is give more taxpayer's money away "to spread the wealth" and then call it tax cuts.

I find it hard to believe you lost your 401K's because of Bush and AIG. Most 401K's are comprised of several types of funds that usually lean more and more toward being least risky as you approach retirement. If what you say is true, it isn't Bush's or AIG's fault, it is the fault of your 401k plan's management team.

You've fallen for the class envy trap and the fallacy that they spent YOUR money. How much of the $400K was yours? How much of the $14.6M was yours? If you do the math, you know spread the wealth around, since everybody pays taxes one way or another it works out to, about $.04 dollars per USAmericans, or more simply 4 CENTS per USAmerican. It doesn't justify what those jerkys at AIG did, but please stop with this propagandist hyberbole.

Let me tell you something the 401k thing doesn't look good on paper. Whatever amout it is, its mine!! understand my point here? @kttrm: I guess what's frustrating for many conservatives is that liberals jump at every chance to blame Bush for everything bad that happens, saying that "they're in charge", but when there is a Democrat in the White House they are not so willing to do that. When Clinton was in the White House, it was all Newt Gingritch's fault for anything that went wrong.

Plumbing license's are generaly issued by the state and some municipalities reguire a license.
In S.C. you get a state license for different trades and then you need a license for the area you work. Town , city , county. They are quite strict on licenses in S.C. now . When Hugo came thru their were a lot of fly by nights that came in and butchered a lot of work and for big money I might add.

I have done a lot of work in the Charleston area and most everything requires an architect , structual engineer. In some cases plans need to be presented to the board of archtectual review for historical preservation.
Then permits are required and all phases of construction are inspected by the town or city.
In some cases if a job runs under so many dollars an architect is not reguired but permits are. Siding redos , roofs, etc

No matter who we go with the Bush administration has completely ruined not only the country, but the world. It can't be fixed. These last days are only going to get worse. As long as Nancy Pelosi is in office it will be a rough road. What's happening is supposed to happen because we are not in charge! God is, and His will is being done. Anger and name calling is doing us no good. While we are complaining, we should just be praying. There is power in prayer and that's the only thing left to help us.
