Schlapp says, “we can’t root for America.” In his opinion, the president is not keeping this country together and the ACU chairman hopes the 2016 election marks “an end to the Obama era.”

Schlapp is not speaking on behalf of the American people, he speaking on behalf of conservative republicans. Everyone in America does not share his dismal view. America is and has always been a beacon of light for the rest of the world. We have a lot to root for, but unfortunately for some they are blinded by party loyalty and unable to see because of their fixation on the 2016 presidential election. If you are enjoying low gas prices, low unemployment, soldiers coming home, inflation coming down, people able to buy a home at a lower rate, then you have something to root about.

Maybe, not everyone, but a majority think otherwise.

A poll can be skewed to say whatever you want it to say, but facts don't lie.

You and Obama both wished, they were not the facts.

Carbo you can be miserable and depressed all you want but I can't join you. I'm too optimistic and thankful for the improvements that has taken place in America. We may not be where you want it to be, but we are not where we once were.

That is what you fail to understand. We are in a worse position, than we once were. Look at the budget deficit, there is no way we will ever pay China, all the money we owe them.

We pay China every time you buy something. Look at anything that you have bought lately and see for yourself who's name is on it. We have an interdependent economy. China needs us just as much as we need them. I suppose you are now saying we owe China because of Obama, huh? SMH

I suppose it would be true to say, he put a big portion of the deficit on his ride. As far as paying China, we don't even pay China the interest on the money, we owe.
