For most kids when they turn twelve it is a time of excitement, celebration, and the time for the talk. But for most blacks, myself included, it's time to learn how to survive an encounter with the police and the justice system. That is the age that most black males start their growth spurt and some will look older than they really are. Because of their size many police feel intimidated and will be too eager to shoot first and cover up later.
