However, how does a person separate legitimate fears (don't step on the third rail, don't walk in front of a bus, don't pickup strangers) from false ones that will disappear when confronted? Fear certainly does paralyze a person. "I'm afraid I won't succeed" (so you don't try at all) "I'm afraid it will look terrible" (so you don't create something beautiful) "I'm afraid he/she won't like me" (so you miss out on a great relationship)

fear is all over south Mississippi        its sent a lot of nervousness and ill health                      it has put me out of balance even    but I'm slowly moving past it

Fear is the mirror image of hatred. Replace any semblance of hatred with love. Peace and understanding will naturally follow.
