This is true, but so hard to practice. So much has to do with the tapes in your head from the past, and they are so difficult to erase. I wish I had a time machine. Then I would go back and learn how to "un-react" to others.

I preach this frequently to my daughter. I quess it's something that you learn after years of experience with people who try their best to rip you apart. It takes a strong person to stop and realize how true these statements can be.
