I read someone on here say that Dr. Ben Carson represents a party known for undermining the lives of black people. You obviously are unaware of the history of the Democratic Party. The Democratic Party gave birth to the Klu Klux Klan. The Democratic Party opposed every attempt by the Republican Party to stop the lynching of black people after and during Reconstruction. The Democratic party is from where JIM CROW Sprang. The Democratic Party is the party of Bull Conner and George Wallace. And the Democratic Party has been complicit in the very REAL and systematic genocide of black people by supporting Planned Parenthood, and estimated 13 million black babies aborted since Roe V Wade. You like so many black people are uniformed and duped. You probably are totally unaware that the founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, was a white supremacist who believed that the most effective way to deal with the "black problem" was not lynchings but EUGENICS - black population control. Or that FDR, who garnered 71% of the black vote during his first presidential bid, opposed anti-lynching laws and appointed two members of the Klu Klux Klan to positions of great authority. And I can go on and on. So before you accuse Dr. Ben Carson and other accomplished black individuals like him of being a sell out, STUDY YOUR HISTORY and you will know who is the actual "SELL OUTS" of black people - you and unfortunately many black people like you who have been "entranced" by hand outs. You despise any suggestion that we need to teach our black youth to be more responsible and accountable because blaming the white man for anything and everything is more politically advantageous - when blame does not empower. it makes more power-LESS. And the notion of SELF-SUFFICIENCY as opposed to DEPENDENCY is equally despised by you and other misinformed and uninformed black people. President Lyndon B. Johnson said," I'll have those n%$gers voting Democratic for the next 200 years", by giving them things. And he started the Welfare Program. I'd say that plan up to this point has worked like a charm.
