Happens all over the country. Cops want to get you they will.

I have to agree with you there Jap. New Orleans was notorious for that back in the day.

You know, for the most part, cops have generally been good people who simply want to earn a living, take care of their families, and be of good service to the rest of us. Somewhere along the way, though, bad, bad traits infiltrated lots of departments and are causing serious corruption. I say that because all these cops who are murdering, planting, and lying about what really happened....their partners are accomplices to it as well. Sure, we have crime and criminals but, the old school cops didn't need to shoot every d*mned body!

JAP, man, you hit the nail on the head and I'm honestly VERY, VERY, skeptical about our 'Open Carry' to begin on Jan. 1. The only good thing is that more body cameras have been funded to our departments and may ward off bad acting...MAY. Otherwise, just as you said, if the cop just doesn't like you, all he has to say is the person tried to draw on him. A lot of times, laws create more issues than they ever solve. Good post.
