Day of the ducks!

Today when I woke up, my mother and I saw the ducks outside on the front lawn, searching for food in the grass.Our hearts went out to them. I had run out of cracked corn and went to the store and bought a few bags. Most people feed them bread, that's why they are always hungry.

I checked my lottery tickets too , the 649, and keno. No winners this morning. Hopefully next time.

The Canadian geese are such a problem in our area, the city passed a law forbidding feeding a bunch of them. I have no idea how they determine you fed too many but that is the law. There used to be a problem right on my street with a woman that fed them, she was part of the reason for the law. Nice lady but neighbors did not like the mess the geese created. You also have to be careful where you step in our parks, same reason. lol

hello truecritic and emilyg,

I did stop feeding the ducks for a while, and I knew that other people would feed them. But the people I watched feeding them , were giving them the wrong food, which is bread. So I told them otherwise, that cracked corn was better for them. Some people listened, some didn't.
So I feed the ducks when I can afford to and still advise the people of the proper food for the creatures.

my childhood wasn't so great either. So I am still working on improving my life continually.
