I had to comment on this one. Affluenza: “a lifestyle where wealth brought privilege and there were no consequences for bad behavior.” I have not heard of anything as stupid as this. Here you have a rich spoiled brat that killed 4 people while driving drunk. Then you have the mom involve herself by taking him to Mexico. He should be tried as an adult and charged with DUI and 4 counts of vehicular homicide. The mom should be charged with aiding her son in his escape. Her son has killed four innocent people and shouldn't get a slap on the wrist because he is rich. They should be treated the same under the law.
