The building of this ginormous cross has nothing to do with Christianity, but everything to do with ego. Trying to build the tallest in itself suggests that it is a competition. The building of this cross by man represents a graven image and has nothing to do with salvation. Jesus is no longer on the cross, our eyes should be on Him not a cross.
