See, she nuts, I swear it must be PTSD . Poor thing has no idea what color she is, she is not fit to lead this country.

By the way hillybob , cook your greens with a smoked turkey leg and add salt, pepper, garlic and crushed red pepper, and maybe just a little apple cider vinegar.

That's the way some Native Americans like it.

Je je je je je, now I know d*amned well somebody has no business giving any cooking advice, either. When you leave out SMOKED FAT BACK and BACON GREASE, you ain't got yo' self NOTHIN'!! Gotta love it!!!!! I'd be curious to see a corn bread recipe now...they don't know nothin' 'bout that pan fried corn bread, I guarantee it.

JeJeJe, somebody needs diversity training, Libtards are cramming this down everyone else's throat, but you have no respect for other cultures, shame on you shows us who you really are.

Lucky Loser, pan fried corn bread isn't a black thing. That was the way my mother and my wife's mother always fixed it. Might be a southern thing. Either way, aint nothing better than pan fried corn bread and collards, cooked in bacon grease on a winter night. Cleans you out also. lol

reddog, long time no see!! Hell, we found some common ground, finally!! I didn't mean that it was necessarily a black thing, either, but that folks from the 'real' old school will cook this way and I see you're no stranger to it. I'll bet your people can burn pretty good! My mom, grandmas, and great grandmas all kept a container of drained bacon grease near the stove for cooking into select recipes and it wakes up EVERYTHING. If I look into a fridge and don't see any fat back somewhere, unless it's hidden, I become curious about cooking skills. Same thing applies with bacon grease. I don't judge folks based solely on that but, it is sort of a measuring tool for most southern men and women.

@sully16:

How you durin'? Listen, stop embarrassing yourself in front of all these good people, okay, and just strive towards posting with some common sense and reason with people. It's not hard, I promise. We're all about diversity and respecting other cultures....especially on foods. We tried to accommodate Muslims not having to eat pork in the prisons but, had to reverse that decision as it hurt the farmers and markets. No problem, we tried to be diverse but they worked out the menu to respect Muslim culture on days that pork is served. Done.

@sully16, Loser knows it is not just a Black thing, they learned how to cook from their masters. From where their ancestors came from, they never had those type of skills. They wanted to have something to identify with, "SOUL FOOD", was their claim to fame.

CARBO you are so IGNANT. The master took credit for everything the slave invented except cooking...there they did not have a clue...besides taking care of the master's child and the kids that they had with their female slaves, building their master's house and slave quarters. I'd say slave owners taught blacks very little. Blacks were fed scrapes from table and discarded parts of the pig...from that many of the ingredients that slaves used to make a feast are still being used today by Black Americans. STUPID AZZHOLE.

We are speaking about slaves, not the Blacks that were not slaves. You would like to believe the slaves were so skilled and educated, why were they sold, as slaves? You are educated way beyond your intelligence. Where and how and from what source did slaves get the knowledge to invent anything????????????

Like I said before you IGNANT FLORIDIAN BIGOT, many of the slaves came from villages that were specialized. There were villages that were weavers, metallurgist, masons, fishermen, etc. The reason they were sold is because BIGOTS like you thought of them as property and incapable of learning. Well that theory was shot to HELL thousands of times even doing slavery. This is why the slave owners were terrified of a slave that knew how to read. They knew that if slaves learned how to read, they will be able to think for themselves, and begin to organize revolts against their so-called master. Which was the real beginning of the Civil Rights movement.

Where is your proof of these,"SPECIALIZED VILLAGES". You live in a dream world. The country was so undeveloped. If one ounce of truth was in your statement. Explain why so many Blacks drop out of schools today. You are one of those individuals who thinks that,"HOOD" music, rap, has merit.

CARBO I could give you a history lesson about Blacks before slavery, during slavery, and after slavery but you wouldn't comprehend because of your innate RACIST VIEWS.

It takes more than a horrifying transatlantic voyage chained in the filthy hold of a slave ship to erase someone's culture.

The BLACKS need to face the facts, they have no viable history. Give me the history lesson. Explain how an undeveloped country had, "SPECIALIZED VILLAGES". You and the entire BLACK population have created a false history.

CARBO there is nothing that I have said about Black History that is fault. You are the lone IGNANT POS from FLORIDA that chooses to think Blacks have not contributed to America. You are one SAD RACIST that is in denial and is confused. You can't help it, you were taught to think that way from a long line of bigots. SAD

CARBO you need a good history book about slavery that is not slanted toward RACIST White POWER RHETORIC.

Is there anywhere in my statements, where I said, BLACKS have not made contributions. NO! Think about all the wars and current wars. Many made the ultimate sacrifice.
