“Evangelical Christianity is now distinctive—and widely despised. Another way to put this is that the Evangelical “brand” has gone from being an asset to a liability, and it is helpful to understand the transition in precisely those terms.”

Once upon a time it meant something to be called an Evangelical Christian. They sold-out their mission when they allowed themselves to be caught up in politics with lying and corrupt repub politicians. Evangelical now means obsessed with sex, arrogant, fearful and bigoted, indifferent to truth, gullible and greedy, ignorant, predatory, and just plain MEAN.

Russell Moore summed it up best when he stated:

“The Evangelical brand is so depleted and tainted at this point that Russell Moore, a prominent leader of the Southern Baptist Convention recently said that he will no longer call himself an “Evangelical Christian,” thanks—he implied—to association between Evangelicals and Trump.”
