Profiling has been a key for law enforcement to solve crimes for ages.

Paranoia is not a good thing. Last night one of the neighbors open fire on another person from the neighboorhood who parked next to their house. It turns out they had no where else to park. The shooter was loaded into the police car with silver braclets.

Profiling has also been a pain in the AZZ for people of color. For many years it has been used as a form of harassment. It still exist in many places in the US.
