Trump's children spoke well of their dad. They only saw the good side of him. But people like Rosie, Megyn, Elizabeth, Ruth, Cruz, Jeb, and the American people only saw the monster side of him. Trump is a lousy actor. He's trying to play a role that he is not qualified for. It's hard for him to act presidential for an extended period of time.

He does not hide any of his personality traits like many politicians do.
We see the good, the bad and the ugly.
Got to give him credit for that.

If I'm right, the only people he hasn't yet insulted are babies, small children and everybody's mother.

Kudos for his kids doing exactly what they're supposed to do but, they are still reared by and a product of their dad on every front. I feel that the entire convention was an act with four-day episodes and Wednesday was the semi-climax with the whole Cruz deal. Then, on Friday morning, just HOURS after Trump had just given his formal acceptance speech, he laid back into Cruz. Granted, a journalist asked Cruz about his decision not to 'openly' endorse Trump and he answered accordingly regarding his family WITHOUT ever mentioning Trump. That's all Trump needed right there, and, he ran with it after he's already on top of the ticket. No composure.

Right now, Trump and kids are material witnesses in a $250M tax evasion suit which is currently developing. Here are two articles, one of which is Snopes calling like it is:
