In 2001, Bloomberg became mayor of NYC with a net worth of 4 billion. Despite taking a salary of one dollar a year, he left office 12 years later with a net worth of 20 billion. How is this even possible unless he able to use his position as mayor to enhance his own wealth?

All this while reportedly spending a reported 250 million of his own money while running for mayor.

The rich, especially if they're crooked only get richer when elected to office. Bill and Hillary Clinton were barely upper middle class prior to being elected and now are in the top .01% Obama is in the top 1% but once he leaves office his net worth will sky rocket and he too will be in the top .01%.
