President Obama is talking from experience. Talking from prepared notes or teleprompter is a sign of intelligence. One has a less chance of making a gaffe than someone that is talking loud and saying absolutely nothing.

Trump use to laugh at people who used a teleprompter until he started making gaffes. Now he uses one all the time, why?
