Mostly city slicker clothes. Did not see much of that around in my neighborhood at the time.

Fruity very fruity. We wore nothing like that, woulda been some trouble if we did.

Yikes, glad I went for the jeans and t-shirt guys.
I used to belong to a club called DREAD " Detroit Rockers engaged in the abolition of Disco" No platforms for us.

I grew up in the 70's and Sears and Roebuck catalog didn't have clothes like that. That was where my Mom ordered all our clothes since she didn't drive. But I do remember a lot of those styles making the disco scene and on Soul Train. As for the men's underwear,,, I thought I saw John Holmes lol.

Thanks Sully & Reddog. I think a lot of those fashions were geared toward those who lived in large cities. Enjoyed watching Soul Train because like American Bandstand the dancing audience was considered 'stars' too.
