Time for a national voting law requiring a state issued identification in order to vote. In Georgia if someone can not afford to furnish one the state will pay for it so lower income people are not discriminated against. If a national law is patterned after Georgia law it will be stringent but very fair. Our voter ID law has been through the courts and found lawful.

On Wednesday morning President Trump published a tweet stating he will be asking for a major investigation into voter fraud. He highlighted areas he believes are problem spots, such as people who are registered to vote in two states, those voters who are in fact illegal, and registration rolls that include dead people.

Earlier this week President Trump told members of congress he would have won the popular vote if it were not for voter fraud. The president believes 3 to 5 million votes were cast by “illegals.” Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by more than 2.8 million votes."

Detroit had massive voter fraud, blue as blue can be they were not voting for Trump.

About time a President acted on this issue. Needed to be acted on a couple years before another national election. This whining about it after an election does not cut the mustard.

Thanks Sully. I'm all in favor of requiring ID in every state. Other nations require an ID and it's foolish to put forth the notion we shouldn't also.

Thanks JAP. Whining about fraud after is all we've heard with no action. Obama encouraged illegals to vote in this election, he's on tape doing just that.

We know that the Democrats had people mentally incompetent voting Hillary, voting multiple times (voters admitted it proudly), names off headstones, phone books. It DOES need to be investigated. I am equally sure it has been done by both parties. Might be naive or wrong but I think Repulicans just followed the Democrats.

Jap69, I wasnt sure if Trump would even consider, let alone want a second term but this investigation may be to head off the fraud of a second run.

Thanks Lejardin. I believe it was Project Veritas that has them on camera saying how they'll transport people from poll to poll.

Even if President Trump doesn't choose to run having a mandatory ID law proving citizenship for voting is needed.

Thanks sully, tell ya what Reid did in Nevada, a traditional conservative Western State, when illegals were registering up for Welfare & Food Stamps, by happenstance they also to got instructed how to vote !

Anyone know what ever happen to our time honored League of Women Voters 'Making Democracy Work' ???
