What, You Think Our Country is So Innocent? Quote of the Century (vid)

Published:

Styx made an excellent point saying "Pres Trump may be strategizing to get neocons and neoliberals to gather together across partisan lines to reveal to the American people once and for all that their worst fears were true which is the two sides they don't compete, they don't oppose one another. They agree war is good ..... "

I think we've been knowing this but nice to have someone with guts enough to call them on it and bring them out of their hidey holes. We as a people may be becoming their worst nightmare in our ability to see through the subterfuge.

Language warning.

More good independent provocative thinking stuff konane-

I recall witnessing congressional events with cameras rolling as Red vs Blue teams were locked in seemingly moral & mortal combat with red/blue neck veins bulging with straining hypertension. Much of those shout out matches video tapeings were unfit for public consumption but individual R/D members would request same for hometown bravado playback to partisan crowds at local watering holes. Now here's the kicker after seeing all this divisive ruckus, ostensibly in our behalf the R/D gentlemen & genteel ladies would retire to the congressional club or other off property pubs to quench heir parched throats and warmly greet ask about each other families, laugh & congratulate * mock each other's hysterical bread & circus speeches for the crowds. With only concerned with how they could pass more bills that feather their beds faster, etc w

Aside of the satirical but factual painting, with one thing taken with another, a couple/three degrees to the left or right in reality it's the same party with the primary interest of L@@KING out for Number 1. :-(

Thanks Eddessa. He does provide great thought provoking commentary. I glean more from him than several nights worth of legacy "news".

Eddessa, when I contemplate the two major political parties in America today, I am reminded of being a young boy of about ten and a friend SO excited he was going to go to Amarillo that night and watch a pro wrestling match. He saw his "hero", one of the good guys, have a 30 minute bloody match with one of the "heels", a bad guy, with chairs being brought into the ring and slammed onto heads, eyes being gouged and eventually the "good guy" won. He and his dad hung around the dressing rooms for a while, getting autographs, but his favorite wrestler was nowhere to be found. Someone finally found out he had already left and as he dejectedly left with his dad to get to the near-deserted parking lot, saw his hero standing by his vehicle, drinking a beer with....the guy who had just fought him and lost, both of them sipping on their suds and laughing at a joke. It was an eye-opener for my friend and I don't think he watched wrestling after that.

It's sort of like when you find out Santa isn't real, takes the magic out of Christmas...or when Dorothy saw who really was controlling Oz; "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!"

Thanks Mikeintexas. Excellent story and just like it is with the majority of them. Like the legacy media, there for entertainment purposes to keep us distracted.
