All this scheming and conniving in government circles sounds like some of the novels I read with Kings and Queens and their scheming and conniving for power.

Thanks JAP. Reminds me of documentaries I've watched about ancient kings/emperors and their courts. Lots of intrigue but back then their fate was not kind.
