At the police station, Bubba explained to the police officer why his cousin shot him.

"Well," Bubba began, "We wuz havin' a good time drinking, when my cousin Ray picked up his shotgun and said, 'Hey, der ya fellows wanna go hunting?'"

"And then what happened?" the officer interrupted.

"From what I remember," Bubba said, "I stood up and said, 'Sure, I'm game.'"

These are funny Miss Kitty. Thanks for posting.

It's been a while back now, but I sit down at a restaurant to have dinner here in MO and they had place mats of words used by the Appalachian mountain folk and their meanings. Below that, they had the correct way to say it in proper English. I thought it would be funny until I realized I used 19 out of the 30 words they had listed on a daily basis. And I'm not talking about the proper English version either. LOL.
