Bo Schembechler

My condolences to the University of Michigan family as well as the family of Bo. What a class act from a university that I usually like to look down on (as you can tell I am an Ohio State fan), but today is different. On the eve of what could be college football's greatest game, college football lost one of its most colorful ambassadors. Bo vs. Woody was probably the all-time greatest coaching rivalry in the all-time greatest football rivalry, and arguably the best rivalry in sports (outside of my Tar Heels v. Duke!).

Wolverine fans will carry a heavy heart into the Horseshoe tomorrow afternoon, and this timing couldn't be any worse for the Buckeye faithful either. The traditional "Win One For The Gipper" must be haunting Buckeye brains right about now as they prepare for the most anticipated game of this century.

R.I.P. Great Bo! We will all miss you...and yes, even us Buckeye fans will miss you too!

Nice post, Keith. I don't follow college football too much but as you said, Bo was a class act. My condolences also to his family, friends and team.
