One serious flaw I've observed about socialists is they're unable or unwilling to project things into the future based on the reality of human desires and behavior over time. They always present unicorns and rainbows, but today's Venezuela is falling into total chaos due to what happens in yet another socialist utopia.

Five years ago, future Democratic presidential contender Bernie Sanders described Socialist-ruled Venezuela as a more suitable exemplar of the American dream than the United States.

In an essay lamenting what he described as the intractable income inequality of the American economy, Senator Sanders declared: “These days, the American dream is more apt to be realized in South America, in places such as Ecuador, Venezuela and Argentina, where incomes are actually more equal today than they are in the land of Horatio Alger.” ...."

Not working out so well for the population down there. I sympathize for those starving for nutrition.

Thanks JAP. I very much do also. What are they going to do when farms have been "nationalized" and farmers who are trying to grow food have their crops stolen during the night?
