Yeah, do you know anyone still running Windows XP?   Do you know anyone dumb enough to click on "live" links sent within an email from someone you don't know? Have you ever answered a phone call and someone with a "foreign" accent tells you there is a problem with your Windows and they are there to help and you didn't tell them to go f' themselves or that you have a Mac and your windows are closed?

If you answered yes to any of these questions..........you deserve whatever you get.

Thanks Jarasan. As you know windows just did an update to close the door on the vulnerability. However best to put important stuff on a thumb drive, dvd, external hard drive & disconnect those from the comp. If I'm hit I'm prepared to format & start back up with a clean install.
