President Trump at the wall.

Mexico took in nearly $25 billion in money sent "home" just last year. (more than they made from oil revenues!) 10% of that is 2.5 billion and the wall is expected to cost 21.6 billion, but even if it was more than that, we could adjust that 10% figure. Besides that percentage, the money staying here in the U.S. will be used for loans, to build the economy, to bring in new businesses or even to lower taxes due to it being "turned over" several times. When it goes out of the country, it's pretty much out of our economy.
Of course ,when they start self-deporting, then the amount of remissions will drop, but the net savings in other costs such as social services and prison expenses, reduction of crime, etc. will make up for that.
